And yet we are just a 6 min drive or very pleasant 2 mile walk along the paved Lake Estes trail to the center of downtown. brbrOur cabin is a short 2 minute walk to the paved Lake Estes Trail which will lead you to several beautiful spots in Wapiti Meadows for fly-fishing on the Big Thompson River or to the Estes Lake Marina. Following the Lake Estes Trail the other direction will lead you to Lake Estes picnic spots, Stanley Park which has a beautiful, clean playground and a fun zip line for kids, or to Estes Park Visitor's center (1.5mi) where you can find lots of ideas for fun things to do or pick up the RMNP shuttle or shuttle to downtown.
