If you don't catch fish here, try the Platte River or Manitou Lake, both less than 10 miles away. You will need a license. If fishing is not your thing, try whitewater rafting on the Platte River. There are plenty of dishes and utensils for the entire group to enjoy meals together around the rustic solid wood dining table.brbrBedrooms:brThe primary bedroom features a California king bed with high-quality sheets and bedding, as well as a full ensuite bathroom for your privacy and comfort. The second bedroom offers a queen sleigh bed with luxurious linens and a spacious double closet. The third bedroom includes one full bed and one twin XL bed, both with premium bedding and a large closet. Bedrooms two and three share a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. On the lower level, guests will find an additional half bathroom, a second 55 television, and a washer and dryer for added convenience.brbrGuests have access to two driveways for parking, though please note the garage is not available for use. For your safety and peace of mind, four outdoor security cameras with lights are positioned around the perimeter—one above the garage, one on each side of the home, and one by the back door. There are no cameras inside the house. While Tranquil Green is accessible year-round, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended in the winter months. We will get snow (often beginning in October), and the snow often results into an icy road. Even though we live off of a paved road, it is a fairly steep hill to our driveway and can be very slick. So sadly, we cannot allow our guests to bring any pets with them. We ask that you also please do not associate with or touch our family pet. Our dog doe not roam free and is considered an indoor dog, but you will probably hear them bark some during the day while in the house, side yard or out on the front deck. He is our mountain protectors and home security system!brbrWe do not have air conditioning but since we live in the mountains it is generally cooler here. We are about 8 - 10 degrees cooler than in the Colorado Springs area. Opening your windows at night brings in fresh cool air for night time sleeping, and we also have 2 fans in the room for your comfort. brbrPlease note that our bathroom is a 3/4 size. This means that there is NO bathtub, but instead, a beautiful walk-in tiled shower with a bench seat. brbrCell phone service is a little patchy here in the mountains. Verizon users get the best reception. We do havebrgood Wi-Fi. We do not have cable television but there is a large TV in the room with ROKU availability and a DVD player. brbrYour room is also equipped with space heater (winter only), fan, white noise machine (for those light sleepers!), water and yummy baked goods! We do not have a kitchen and therefore do not allow any indoor cooking of any kind, although we do provide a propane grill and BBQ tools for use out on the patio. We provide paper plates, cups, and eating utensils. We also have a microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig with a variety of coffee pods and teas.brbrWe follow a Moderate cancellation policy, and do not refund for cancellations of any kind from 0 - 14 days of the reservation date, nor do we allow allow a credit to stay at a different date.
