The new electronic door lock allows self-check-in and easy access. brbr brbrParking brbrGarage parking can fit a small SUV. One small vehicle only in the garage. We are only able to accommodate one small to mid-size vehicle in our garage. We are not able to accommodate large vehicles or secondary vehicles. Guests in that situation will need to arrange for parking outside of the neighborhood. We ask guests not to park on the street. Located 20 minutes to Denver, 15 minutes to Boulder, 10 minutes to old town Louisville, Lac Amora is an established neighborhood that is virtually void of traffic noise and speeding cars. Just steps away from the house are hiking and mountain bike trails, but under a mile away from a Starbucks, supermarket, liquor store and restaurants. You can sit on the dock overlooking the pond while you enjoy birds of prey flying above the preserve while having easy access to all your necessary stops. Just a little further down the hiking trail is a small lake where bald eagles are nesting near by. The newly remodeled house has a wonderful chef's kitchen with a huge island, formal dining area and breakfast nook. There is also a wonderful sitting area with a view, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. This is really a large, comfortable, open and bright space that everyone can enjoy together. Technically speaking, 17 people can sit comfortably in one room. Walk out of the kitchen onto the newly built deck and sitting area, and right down to the over-sized patio with a large dining area, grill and hammock. Outdoor relaxation or entertaining, your choice. Back inside, the downstairs is a large family room equipped with a huge wrap around sofa, flat screen tv and a desk with a printer for all of your office needs. Just down a small hall is a convenient laundry room and bathroom. 3 bedrooms are located upstairs. The 4th can be found in the newly remodeled basement, along with the 4th bathroom, which is off of a large Rec Room. This space has another separate tv area and plenty of room for kids or adults alike to spread out. 3 of the bedrooms have full beds, so each can sleep 2 people comfortably, along with smart tv's. There is a full bathroom with a tub in the hall. The master bedroom is very spacious and bright. The super comfy queen bed feels like a king. There is no tub in the master but the over-sized shower is fantastic. There is also a smart tv. brbrThere is plenty of parking in the drive way and on the street. New electronic door lock with unique passwords for guests allows self-check-in, easy access and security. brbr brbrThe Space brbrYour space is located on the second floor of our 2-story house. It has shared entrances through the garage and front door. It is up a small flight of stairs leading to a guest reading nook, a private outdoor balcony overlooking the lake. Since our family is also upstairs in the home's other wing, feel free to ask us any questions. We love getting to know our guests and providing recommendations and local tips. brbr brbrHouse Pets brbrWe have two dogs who will bark at you when you enter. Both are harmless -- all bark, no bite. Weighing 18 pounds, our wiener dog mix, Sandman, is 20, but still soft as a rabbit. Khaleesi is just under 40 pounds and the sweetest of our family dogs. Even k9 weary guests usually come away saying that they were smitten with her. We also have a cat, Itsy Bitsy, who mostly keeps to himself and Guinea pigs. brbr brbrNeighborhood brbrOur home is in an excellent neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. 10 min walk to Eagle Trace Golf Course. 5-minute drive to Broomfield Commons and the Field Open Space. 10 minutes to great sandwich shops, pizza, Pho, sushi, burgers and Indian. Whole Foods, King Soopers, and retailers like Target abound, even as our neighborhood enjoys a suburban and park-like atmosphere. Our home is set in a golf course community, and we are only able to continue hosting through the support of our neighbors. Please take that into consideration and follow our house rules. brbr brbrHouse Rules brbrWe can only accommodate one mid-sized vehicle in our garage. Guests with second vehicles and oversized vehicles will need to arrange for out of neighborhood parking. Please do not park on the street. brbrNo Parties, this will be grounds for immediate eviction brbrNo smoking of any kind inside the house, on the deck and patio, or in the garage. Please smoke outside the neighborhood. brbrNo Pets allowed. Our pups can be territorial with other dogs. If a service animal is brought to the home, the hosts must be notified, and a $50 cleaning fee will apply. brbrQuiet hours begin after 10 PM. As a guest, you'll share our modern kitchen, including our Breville espresso and latte machine bar with soy, oat and almond milk. We're happy to teach you to use the machine (it's easy!) or, if timing works, to be your barista. The snacks and breakfast items in the fridge are included in your stay. We also share our spices, condiments, and provide easy ramen/pho noodles and spaghetti. We have an induction cooktop, air fryer, microwave, full-size oven, toaster, and Keurig hot beverage dispenser. brbrWe only ask that you clean up after yourself and not rely upon us for all your meals. Please leave washed dishes on the right side of the sink or place them thoughtfully into the dishwasher. We will put them away. Feel free to poke around in the kitchen for anything you need to make a meal. brbrThere is NO smoking of any kind on our property. This includes patios, decks and the garage.
