The Casita is attached to our home but separated by the two car garage. It is a southwestern style ranch surrounded by alfalfa fields and very large old growth cottonwood trees. The Casita is inside the gated main courtyard wall, which provides security and serenity. There are no neighbors close to the ranch, we are offset from the end of the road cul de sac by nearly 1/4 mile. The pool is located in the backyard of the main house and is suitable for use from Memorial day through Labor day. The wildflower gardens enhance the sights and smells of Western Colorado as well as providing ample food for butterflies, honey bees and Humming birds. Several runs of grape vines line the pasture fence at the back of the property. There are many ways to enjoy walks and bike rides along the Highline canal and local roads as traffic is minimal in our area. Wildlife viewing is readily available, mule deer, coyotes and birds including a family of red tail hawks call Bookcliff Ranch home.
