Now, onward!

Come and enjoy our Big Horn cabin built in 1923. Located on a hillside tucked up from traffic overlooking Downtown Estes Park. Walk 1.5 blocks to the heart of Downtown Estes Park to enjoy shopping, dining/bars, and the riverwalk. Enjoy amazing mountain views, the ambiance of a mountain getaway, the convenience of overlooking downtown and close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Original wood floors are beautifully restored throughout the cabin. There are two large picture windows in the livingroom overlooking downtown. Watch the Aerial Tramway make its way up the slopes of Propect Mountain (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Recent updates include all new furniture, mattresses, linens, and mountain decor. Attention to detail will make this cabin a memorable vacation getaway in Estes Park!

BEDROOMS

One level lodging includes a king-size aspen log bed and queen sized bed with fresh white duvet covers and linens. There are large windows in each bedroom to enjoy the mountain breezes.

KITCHEN & DINING

A fully equipped kitchen is ready with many amenities provided for preparing your favorite dishes. Stainless steel appliances, microwave, full sized stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, crockpot, dishes/silverware, glassware, cooking utensils and linens. A dining table provides seating for four people.

BATHROOM

The full bath is decorated in Trout fishing decor. There is a full set of towels provided for each guest.

LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT

Relax and unwind at the mountain getaway located above Downtown Estes Park. Sit back and relax with ample seating and a full size outdoor table for dining. There is an outdoor grill with propane provided for your use.

Enjoy outdoor activities in Rocky Mountain National Park, or Estes Park`s restaurants and shops. The river walk, Bond Park and its numerous festivals, or free concerts at Performance Park all within walking distance of the cabin.

Guests have access to our parking lot for 2 cars max, the home, yard, and deck. We don`t have laundry facilities but they are available nearby at several coin-op facilities.

I am a part of a local management company called The Wolf Rentals. If you don`t hear from me, you`ll hear from my cohosts!

My cabin is located in a neighborhood of other historic cabins on a hillside just above downtown Estes Park. You can literally walk everywhere in town -- to the Stanley Hotel, Ed`s Cantina, local coffee shops and restaurants, etc. Because it`s on a hill, you have a great view of the mountains from our patio/deck and yard.

We have parking for two cars at our cabin, and it`s a short walk to the seasonal free bus system that goes around Estes Park and into the National Park. The home is located just above Elkhorn Avenue, which is the main street of Estes Park. Elkhorn is filled with shops, bars and restaurants.

NOISE

This unit is in a quiet little neighborhood with other rentals nearby, so events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level. I really want to maintain good relationships with my wonderful neighbors.

AIR CONDITIONER

Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C.

CHECK IN/OUT TIMES

Check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners` schedule. It`s a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren`t other people to clean. I`m sorry about that!

BEARS

Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area and can break in!

MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn`t record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It`s located on the cieling in the kitchen.

The cabin overall was great! Fantastic location and a well kept home. There were instructions everywhere that made sure we knew everything we needed to know and Nathan was very easy to communicate with. The only problem and it was pretty minor was that the cabin wasn’t as clean as we would have liked, it didn’t seem like the cleaners vacuumed the floors. We vacuumed when we got there because we were getting hair on our socks while walking around, and caught quite a bit of debris is the canister. Again, not a huge issue but when we are paying cleaning fees it’s expected that everything should be exceptionally cleaned. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

This was my husband's and my first trip away from home with our 2 month old and this cabin was perfect. The bed was comfy and lots of room for our pack n play. Nathan was so communicative and made our stay so easy. The labels on all the light sqitches was an unexpected ease that we so appreciated.

Cute place with most necessities. It was quite a hill climb walking back and forth to town so definitely would recommend planning in driving it. Everything kind of echoes so it’s not the quietest place especially when the wind was howling outside and our window it blew open at 2 in the morning. Bed was comfy and bedding was soft. Enjoyed the fireplace and little Christmas tree. Didn’t use the hot tub but pretty views from the deck.

This charming, clean, cozy house is in the perfect location for enjoying RMNP and Estes without worrying about parking and crowds. You can easily walk down the hill into town to eat and shop and then return to the quiet lot. You can take a back way out of town to avoid the construction on the main street in Estes. I had a wonderful stay with my teenage son, enjoyed some epic hikes, good meals, and a quiet place to sleep and relax.
