Our yard backs right up to your own beach on the bank of the Colorado River - enjoy a riverside Pergola with a picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill. We've just upgraded the outdoor kitchen on the deck adjacent to the orchard (36 flattop grill, BBQ grill and seating for 8). In addition, during the late summer months, canoes and kayaks are available for use (waiver required). brbrYou'll love the infinity-overlooking yard - play rogue lawn bocce ball, sit under the wisteria and enjoy a picnic, enjoy coffee or wine on the overlook, drop a line in the water or just stargaze. brbrWe have just planted a 65 tree, peach orchard with four different types of peaches so (when in season) guests can harvest and take home a box of peaches. brbrALL OF THIS... is included in your stay! brbrWe also believe that a short-term rental should be well-appointed. In addition to our fleet of 10 bicycles for your use, we also provide spices, oil, vinegar, coffee, creamer, shampoo, lotion, hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, double laundry, board games, high-speed Internet, Netflix and other streaming services in the home theater (complete with seating for 8 and a popcorn machine and surround sound!). Any reasonable vehicle will make it up and down just fine but some folks may want to bring a change of underwear . If that 1950s truck in the photo didn’t have a problem then your vehicle won’t either.brIt’s not required, but if you have 4x4 please use it and also go slow to keep the road in good shape.br***During the winter months the road may become impassable and you may have to hike up the road to get to the house. Whether you are here for the daring Palisade Plunge, or ready to relax and enjoy some wine, we know you will love your stay in Palisade.brbrThe home is tucked back on a dead-end road and backs up to incredible, truly breathtaking views of Palisade. You can soak in sunrises and sunsets from the backyard while hanging by the pool, grilling or just sipping on some wine. The home was remodeled from top to bottom and the modern interior is only second to the views out the back windows. Blackout shades are provided in the bedrooms but you likely won't want to miss out on the views in the morning! The center of the home has an open kitchen, dining and den area making it a great gathering space for all guests.brbrThe layout is arranged perfectly for three couples to share the home and still have their own space. Off to one side of the gathering room there is a bedroom and office with hallway bath. The other side of the home has two bedrooms each with their own on on-suite bathroom, laundry with washer and dryer and a powder room.brbrWe provide all bed linens, bath and pool towels. Hotel style soaps, shampoos, etc. are provided as 'starters' for your stay. The laundry room is available for your use, detergent and fabric softener is provided.
