The kitchen is stocked with silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee cups, and wine glasses. It also has pots, pans, slow cooker, blender, coffee grinder, strainers, mixing bowls, and more. We have you covered for the small miscellaneous items such as all the openers for wine, bottles and cans. We do not provide perishable items such as salt, pepper, and oil. However, we do supply a bag of organic coffee from our local shop, The Buena Vista Roastery. Please ask if you have specific cooking needs.brbrBEDROOMSbrThere are three private bedrooms in the home. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart Roku TV. Please note that we do not offer streaming services, but all apps are available for use with your own account. brbrBedroom 1 is the master suite. It has a King bed with an en suite bathroom. The King bed has a Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress with a memory foam topper. This is ultimate comfort. There is a clothes bar for your use as the closet is needed for our cleaning team.brbrBedroom 2 has a Queen bed with a Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress and a memory foam topper.brbrBedroom 3 has a Full bed and a Twin bed. Both beds have a memory foam topper for very comfortable sleeping. But we made some videos to show how it works, as some people have had issues with it. We also have a wonderful housekeeping team, but as I stated above it's a Rustic Mtn cabin and dust and dirt blow in if wind gets going. The main owner does keep some of his personal item's and has a service dog. But pets are not welcome as the HOA will not let guests bring them. No parties but Close to downtown and, bars and restaurants. As we love to have anyone, if you feel this place isn't for you, our staff and their families work hard to keep the place in order and can't afford refunds. We have 14 steps into the apartment. You could say this is your first Fourteener. We have a BBQ grill in the yard and all the utensils to enjoy a perfect meal at home. Old fashioned farmhouse sink. (Washbasin below the sink)brDeer often visit the yard in the cool of an early morning or right before sundown.brbrA five minute walk will have you in downtown Buena Vista. A two minute walk will put you in the McPhelemy Park and the Eddyline Brewery and Restaurant. The Park has playground equipment and a lake with a waterfall that is lit up at night. The local Lion's Club stocks the trout in the lake each season and is open to all for fishing with no license needed. We hope a family member will be able to say I caught my first fish in Buena Vista!. All of our kids and grandkids have enjoyed this activity. Near the Town Lake is the historic Train Depot and Caboose which will be open in the summer months. brbrContinuing east across the highway will lead you into East Main Business District where you will find all kinds of gifts and antique shops, art galleries, Lobacks bakery (glazed donuts and longjohns, our favorites). Heritage Museum (I went to school there long ago), and numerous restaurants. brbrAs you continue east you will find a pedal park, tennis courts, softball field, and picnic area. Then the great reward, the majesty of the mighty Arkansas River with an arching footbridge over the water. Once you have crossed over the river, please enjoy the Barbra Whipple Walking Trail and biking trails over Midland. brbrAfter you return back to the Loft, if you would like to go west (towards the mountains), drive approximately 3 miles and you will find the Comanche Movie Drive- In, (opened in1966 by the Groy family). Take a blanket, a folding chair and a treat to eat and sit outside under the stars and watch a great movie. It just doesn't get any better than that! brbrIf you travel past the Drive-in approximately 2 miles you will find the Cottonwood Hot Springs Resort, natural hot springs that you can soak in. Continuing on past the hot springs, approximately 2 miles is the turnoff for Cottonwood Lake, traveling 3 miles, you will then arrive at a beautiful, peaceful, serene mountain lake. Cottonwood Lake is included in our pictures. brbrAfter you return to the Loft you might like to plan a trip to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs where you can soak in the river with hot water seeping from the ground or swim in the beautiful pools.brbrThe Jumpin Good Goat Dairy has free tours and samples, and you get to pet the goats.
