It has stunning views of the Blue Ridge mountains and is perfect for family vacations, outdoor enthusiasts, romantic getaways and for visits to App State students. Our favorite moments are sitting on the deck with a glass of wine or coffee, toasting smores around the firepit and snuggling up in front of the gas log fire with family and friends. Area activities include Skiing, Snow & River Tubing, Hiking, Antiquing, Scenic Drives, Fishing, visiting Local Wineries and Breweries and exploring our local towns of Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. brWhen you have had enough of the great outdoors come in and make the most of what our cozy log cabin has to offer whether you enjoy reading, playing games, doing jigsaw puzzles or just enjoying each other's company, there is an area in Endless View for you, and your kids (the den).brThe cabin has an open floor plan on the main level with a beautifully furnished living room, a TV with Roku and DVD, a gas log fireplace, a dining area with panoramic mountain views, a breakfast bar countertop with filter coffeemaker, toaster and a beautifully maintained fully equipped kitchen with condiments included. Wifi and USB outlets are available throughout the cabin and linens, towels, soap and shampoo are provided. It has central AC/heating and a washer/drier.brbrThere are two bedrooms with queen beds, one on the main level and one on the upper level, both fitted with fans. There is an open loft area with a twin daybed and pullout twin bed and on the lower level is a den/office with sofa & desk. DVD's, games, books, and puzzles are provided.brThere are 3 full bathrooms, one on each level, and 2 decks. The upper deck off the living room has 4 rocking chairs and a gas grill and spectacular views, the lower deck has a picnic table and access to the firepit. A firewood package is offered for $30 on request.brbrThere is a semi-circular driveway and parking area at the cabin, with steps through the rock garden and a wrap-around deck leading to the front door. Experience feeding deer and walking nature trails and a fishing pond within a short walking distance. Spend time reading or writing your ‘Next Chapter’ on one of two large decks that overlook woods and animals. If you like fly fishing, the New River is located at the entrance to this quiet community called Fleetwood Falls. Long celebrated for the arts, West Jefferson is known for its arts district featuring an array of interesting murals, distinctive public art, and numerous galleries. Visit the Ashe County Cheese Factory Viewing Room. Take your kids to visit the factory viewing room and see the machines at work. Next, have your photo taken by the trademark giant milk cows. Then, head across the street to get some famous cheese curds and a glass bottle of soda from the factory store to snack on while you walk around town. You can finish off your day with a refreshing local brew at Boondocks that can only be found in the tap room. If the weather is nice, step outside to the patio and enjoy the fresh mountain air. This brewery located on Main Street also keeps around 30 brews on tap with a heavy focus on North Carolina craft beers. Hillbilly Grill is good for breakfast. Blackjacks Pub is tasty if you like burgers. If you like Asian or Indian food, ‘Thong-Summitt’ is good, too. On the side street parallel with Main Street is New River Brewing. Saturday morning the Farmer’s Market on the Back Street is fun. With food, vegetables and crafts for sale. Venture up to Lansing, NC and ‘The Liar’s Bench’. On Friday’s this little ‘hole in the wall’ has folk music and some tasty entrees. Great folks to talk to! Lansing is 30 minutes from the cabin and past West Jefferson going northwest. Enjoy beautiful grounds, live music and wine choices at the Old Barn Winery 10 minutes from the Next Chapter Cabin in Fleetwood. This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths so sleeps 6 comfortably. There is a pull out sofa in the sofa with a writing desk. The basement also has a long couch and Smart TV. So a maximum of 8 person could be accommodated with these two amenities.
