Cozy Cabin Mountain Retreat w/Beautiful Views! Fireplace Close to town. Walking.

Beautiful location was ideal for an escape from stress of year 2020.

Perfect stay for our first weekend getaway as a little family of 4! (Including our little dog). Everything was clean. House had a smoky smell-not over whelming- we liked it. Definitely will stay here again!

The cozy cabin was wonderful for our stay. It was comfortable amd had everything we needed. The outdoor areas were lovely amd peaceful. Highly recommend!

Pictures need updating. Some furniture is different and missing. Bushes & trees are over grown. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Richard was great to communicate with and very hospitable. The cabin is small, but cozy as advertised. I was there during February. There was beautiful snow on the ground and the development had been recently plowed. Richard provided wood for the wonderful fireplace. It's peaceful and quiet up there, highly recommend.

Comfortable clean place to stay.

The cabin was a bit smaller than expected, but overall was cozy and warm inside. Richard had provided the extra amenities such as shampoo/conditioner, fire wood, coffee, etc. which was a really nice addition. The seating arrangements in the living room are a bit awkward as the couch is perpendicular to the view of the tv and we wanted to have a fire and watch a movie. The smoke wafted into the house, which made the house smell and our eyes burn so bad we had to put the fire out and open the windows. The next night, we decided to try the outdoor firepit, but as soon as the fire got going the ground underneath it caught fire and we had to rush to put it out. This was a huge disappointment for us as we have fires all the time at home with no issue. Richard was made aware of these issues and sent his apologies, however nothing could be done during the time of our visit. We tried the firepit again the last night after cleaning out the ash, leaves, and twigs that were underneath and were able to finally have a nice night with a fire. It was unfortunate that during our 3-night stay, two of those were associated with negative experiences and nothing was done about it.

Cabin was the perfect cozy getaway to enjoy the fall color and cool temps. LOVED the fireplace and porch! Thanks Richard!

What a wonderful cabin! Was perfect for us and our golden retriever. The wood burning fireplace was perfect for a chilly night! The host was extremely responsive, the WiFi worked great, as were the steaks we grilled! The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely reserve again. Thanks for a perfect October weekend getaway!

Cabin was very well equipped. Plenty of towels and the place was very clean. Very easy to check in, location was perfect, close to town but very secluded.

This cabin was precious; it was nestled in the woods on a beautiful piece of land. Morning coffee on the private back porch included the sound of many different birds, a rushing creek and a visit from two wandering female deer. Very peaceful and serene!

The property is in a quet neighborhood of cabins and convenient to Boone and West Jefferson. Only seating in livingroom/kitchen was an uncomfortable sofa and stools at counter. TV didn't work properly.
