We have two level of decks with lots of new furniture to relax in, an outdoor wood burning fireplace, a 8 person hot tub and firepit. These amazing views can also be enjoyed inside where there is a large picture window in our living room and loft area. For those who do not want to miss their favorite sporting event, we have seven TVs available for enjoying your favorite movie or sports team. Even though we are in the mountains, we have great wifi service to stream with, Bluetooth speakers to enjoy music outside, There is a wet bar area with pool table , puzzles, and games to play. Our garage space has fussball and cornhole. Our kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need to cook for your crew. We have both a Keurig and standard drip coffee pot. We are located very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the New River. Other activities that are 30 minutes to an hour away include all ski resorts, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock. Our cabin is conveniently located off of Highway 221 and is easy to get to even when there is a lot of snow. We have plenty of parking on the driveway or street above our home.

If you've considered downsizing, or you just want to give living tiny a try for a getaway, this is the place!brbrThe tiny house is in a quiet spot on top of a hill with just four other properties (a second tiny house on wheels and two small, stick-built cabins). Alone, the tiny house is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with a kid or two), and dogs. You can rent the whole mountain top for events. Combined, the four properties can accommodate 16 people.brbrThe tiny house features wifi, a smart TV, a stocked kitchen with a real range and fridge. The spacious bathroom is stocked with toiletries and linens. There is a sleeping loft accessed by steps, no ladder required, and two sofas that convert to beds. The space is cooled and heated efficiently by a mini-split heat pump. There are lots of windows to enjoy your surroundings as well as a deck with a custom bench and table made from reclaimed materials.brbrIn the event of snowfall, four-wheel drive and experience driving in snow is an absolute must to go the last 1/2 mile or so to the house. If significant snowfall is forecast for your stay and you do not feel comfortable trying to access the property, you will be offered a full refund.
