Real estate agency 4 Seasons was great to work with. They switched our home with no issue after Hurricane Helene. Carolina Dream was a dream for our family getaway ! Great house with plenty of room.

We are friends who used to tube the New River on visits and it had been five years. This place had everything we could have wanted for the weekend. And it smelled like a campfire which was amazing.

The inside of the house was very clean and the set up was perfect for two couples and three kids. For three nights it would have been nice to have at least two wash clothes per person. The outside area was nice but dirty, would have been nice if at least blown off prior to arrival. And if I have to hand wash the dishes it would have been nice to have a dishrag, sponge or brush. Minor complaints but kept it from being a perfect stay.

Loved the cabin my family and I had a great time. If you are traveling with a toddler very challenging , cabin is lovely decorated and toddlers love all the things they can get their hands on ?

Wonderful property, we got to see and play with snow. Great location, would definitely stay again. I would like to see a campfire circle outside in that beautiful sitting area.

Overall this property was nice and worked for what we needed. It had a good amount of space for our group of 7. Parking was a bit tight (we had 3 vehicles) as it is just a small section on the side of the road but all cars fit with cautious guidance and going bumper to bumper. It is difficult to turn around in the neighborhood as well. I would say that this property is more family friendly for those with older kids. We had a 3 and 2 year old with us and with the uneven stone landing, and the exterior doors that only locked the outside access - meaning the kids were able to open the locked doors from the inside - we were on high alert. The house is on a pretty steep hill, so unsteady kids wandering around outside definitely made us a bit nervous. The biggest issue we had was the cleanliness of the the king bed in the master bedroom. When we arrived and checked the place out, it all looked great, but when we went to bed that night, we pulled back the covers to discover that there was hair, that clearly didn't belong to us, all over the pillow cases, sheets, and comforter. I'm not talking just one or two hairs, it was all over the bedding, top to bottom, inside and out. We had to spend a chunk of time picking all the hair off which left us feeling like the sheets hadn't been washed at all. It made for two restless nights of not feeling clean. Now, we went to bed late Friday night so didn't want to reach out to management that late and because we already dealt with it for one night, and removed all the hair, we didn't want to deal with the hassle of having to have someone come squeeze around all our stuff and change it, so those two restless nights is partially on us. The other beds seemed to be fine and clean, but this set definitely wasn't. The kids also found an old pacifier and some other stuff under the side tables and couch in the living room, adults probably wouldn't have seen it so I see how it was missed, but wanted to mention it. The game room floor was pretty dirty as well with hair and dead bugs. The rest of the house did seem clean, but for us, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bed and the game room and probably wouldn't stay here again because of it.

We loved staying in this beautiful home. We had everything we needed. The fireplace was a hit with our group as we had April snows while we were there. Just a FYI if you are planning to use the upstairs room with the extra daybed and trundle, there is not door on the bathroom so using the facilities was a little hard as people had to leave the room for showers etc. Also the window in the shower up there is regular glass and looks on to the porch of the house next door. It is very uncomfortable showering as you feel very exposed. These items are not deal breakers for us as we will happily return in the future. The house was very clean overall.

Wonderful time. Cabin was nice and cozy. There was enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely visit again.

Property was very quaint. Great experience! Very close in proximity to everything! Would book again ☺️
