Appalachian Mountain Evergreen Retreat

The location was perfect for our family gathering. We had plenty to do and the set up was perfect for us. Excellent host. We would definitely come here again and again.

This cabin is BEAUTIFUL. Everything was clean upon arrival. Love the 360 porch and hot tub. The cabin has everything you need to cook with.

Wonderful home for our family get a way! The pool table was a big hit! We had so much fun. I would highly recommend this property for couples, children, and family! The property was great and had everything we could have wanted!

The property was awesome! Great space to hang out indoors and outdoors with game room upstairs and wrap around porch downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and basic cooking needs.

Second year these six ladies have visited the West Jefferson area and enjoyed this beautiful mountain getaway. We mostly stayed on the spacious wraparound porch enjoying beautiful days and sharing meals in the well equipped kitchen. Hoping to return same time next year!

This is our favorite mountain cabin to date and we’ll definitely be back! My wife and I vacationed here for a long weekend with our 4 kids and my mother-in-law. We are all big fans of Boone and West Jefferson so the location was a great fit in between. My mother-in-law has limited mobility so being able to pull right up to the entrance to the cabin with only 2 small stair steps to access the porch was perfect. Our two older kids (11&14) were big fans of the loft with pool table and arcade game. Our younger kids are both under 2 so the spacious bedroom upstairs was great for accommodating a couple pack n plays for sleeping arrangements. Everyone enjoyed the 360 degree porch with all its features (swing, swinging chairs, picnic table, and corn hole boards). The fact that both porch entrances were gated made it a great safe space for our toddler to play freely. We loved our stay and the attentiveness of the hosts. We will definitely be booking this same house in the future!

Spacious house in quiet neighborhood. We picked location to visit the Boone and Blowing Rock areas. Seeing snow was a plus.

Stayed for Thanksgiving 2023! House was beautifully decorated for Christmas, even had a huge live tree in the loft! We found the beds to be comfortable, even the futon in loft was great! Lots of extra pillows, blankets, sheets and all were like new! Had enough parking for 4 cars! Wrap around deck has amazing views and 2 latching gates, was wonderful for our dogs and child! The deck seating was the best we’ve ever had and we enjoyed our morning coffee there every day! The owners were absolutely wonderful to communicate with, I just can’t say enough about that, it’s so important to have great communication and they went over and above! Everything about the home exceeded our expectations!!!

Our group of six ladies arrived to our Fall decorated vacay getaway feeling like we were welcomed home. The home was beautiful inside and out. Thank you to the hosts! We plan to make a trip back next Fall if possible. We made friend memories on the wraparound porch. The bedrooms and baths perfect for restful sleep and bathing. The kitchen was the heart of our stay. Our novice attempts at pool were fun. Fun filled trip sightseeing to local wineries loaded with laughter!
