We have plenty of local wildlife, including black bear, turkey, deer, groundhogs, snakes and field mice; avoid contact with all animals in environs, and do not leave open food or unsecured trash outside or out on counters in home, as this will encourage bad habits in our larger and smaller animals alike. Access is easy along paved roads, with a very short stretch of level gravel. And there is parking for 5 vehicles! You won't need AWD or 4WD unless it's icy in the wintertime.brbrThis is a perfect place to unwind and relax: sit on one of the rockers on the front porch and just watch the clouds roll over and between the mountains while listening to the sounds of the river.
