The house, originally named 'Blue Roof' by our grandparents, is charming and one of a kind. The house was built during an age where design favored rustic and idiosyncratic elements. From the quiet street, you walk through a flower-filled courtyard and arched front door to an enormous hacienda-styled living room/dining room. This room is furnished with comfy sofas and antiques. It also has a 10 foot long dining room table (designed after one in The Metropolitan Museum of Art) which has hosted innumerable lobsterfests. House comes with 1 kayak, 2 SUP (stand up paddle) boards, canoe and 2 bikes.brbrThe fully equipped eat-in kitchen is pine-paneled with windows overlooking golf course and courtyard. It is a cook's delight with great work space, modern appliances and ample pots and pans. There is direct access to the deck from the kitchen. There are four comfortable bedrooms. Two are in the main part of the house: one upstairs with a queen bed and the other on the main floor with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms - one with a claw foot tub and the other with an oversized tiled shower. The other two bedrooms are in a wing off the kitchen, accessed by passage through a 100 year old converted garage, which functions as a storage room, pantry, laundry, and gallery for interesting historical artifacts from the early 20th century. These bedrooms are pine paneled - one has a queen bed and the other a double bed.
