Oceanview cottage has some of the most incredible views in coastal Maine. Wake up to see the sunrise over an ocean lighthouse with stunning hills from an island behind it. Still wonderful views from porch :) Our home does not have AC - but we provide the home with 4 portable fans as well as a remote ceiling fan in bedroom. The house can get warm! We are on direct sun light in the afternoon. We recommend enjoying the porch during this time as the breeze is amazing, but it’s important to know it does get warm! We have heaters - but typically don’t need them at all. If you’re looking for a place with everything modern and new - this is not it - however the view of the spark plug light house, the location (2 min walk to beach up road), 1 min drive to downtown and 4 min drive to west Quoddy head lighthouse makes our humble home very special! Each of these cabins has many great 5-star reviews, individually, they simply have not been rented as a group yet. They rent out so quickly as individual cabin that you will need to reserve this package it least 6 months in advance. If you want to have a family gathering such an anniversary, birthday, or even a wedding, in a quiet place surrounded by wildlife and water, this is the place for your family. This property may be listed as in Eastport because it is 1 mile away from it by water, but we are on the North Lubec Peninsula and are 45 minutes by car from Eastport. Check in time can be flexible, just message us and we will let you know if it is possible for your booking. All 3 of our cabins are super clean and comfortable, with brand new soft bedding, and fluffy, white hotel style towels and Keurig coffee makers. We have retro gaming systems for kids on rainy days, 2 portable fire pits and a large stone fire pit at the largest waterfront cabin. The waterfront cabin has a Peloton in the loft so you can work out with a view of the bay. We also have 6 kayaks on the rack at the beach ready for your use, as well as life jackets. Do you love to get together with family, but like to retire to your own quiet space for the night Have your next family gathering at our log cabins on the bay. This 3-cabin family package is available in May, September and October or peak summer season if you book 6 months in advance. Each cabin is a couple hundred feet apart and has a screen of large pine trees, for privacy, for when you need to unwind and reflect on your day. The main cabin is waterfront, and the other 2 cabins are a very short walk to the private beach. Each is a fully equipped home with 2 bedrooms, sleeper sofa, kitchen, screened porch, a full bathroom, cable tv, and Wi-Fi. The main cabin has plenty of space for family gatherings with its large, screened porch and 30-foot-long deck. Each cabin has a large gas grill, plenty of outdoor chairs, a fire pit, and 2 kayaks each, for outdoor fun, as well. You can explore the natural, rocky, beach along the shore right in front of the main cabin or watch, eagles, gulls, and seals, from the front deck. The main cabin is a light filled, open concept, home is equipped with all that you need for your coastal family getaway. The kitchen’s Corian counters provide plenty of space to prepare your seafood feast, while the easy-to-use appliances and plentiful utensils make vacation cooking fun! If you want a more laid-back meal, cook out on the gas grill and eat on the deck or at the picnic table overlooking the water. The master sleeping loft has a king-size bed with water views, no alarm clock needed, the sunrise will wake you each morning. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Sunrise has been recently renovated, while keeping it's original charm. You will find spectacular views of the Bay of Fundy, Campobello Island & Quoddy Head while sitting on it's new spacious lower and upper deck overlooking the South Lubec Sand Flats. This saltwater marsh is on the top 10 birding spots in Maine. High tide you may see flocks flying overhead to nest nearby, while low tide you will see them return to the shoreline. TO VIEW YOUTUBE VIDEO, SEARCH SUNRISE BY THE SEA, LUBEC ME.brbr Sunrise is a small space, but can comfortably fit up to 5 + guests. Two bedrooms are shared on upper level of the cottage. The bedrooms overlook the bay or the ever changing tides through saltwater marsh. The king bedroom has their own personal upper level deck to enjoy that breath taking view that words or photos can not convey. On a clear sunny day you can see Grand Manon Island 8 nautical miles away. The other bedroom has 2 full beds with it's own privacy door. The king bedroom does not have a privacy door due to the age of the cottage. The lower level has the bathroom, kitchen and dining/living room. It also includes a spacious lower level deck where meals can be enjoyed while taking in the view. The cottage is equipped with 300 speed internet for video conferencing. Please note: There is no smoking of any kind in the cottage. Thank you.brbrGuests will have full access to the whole fully appointed cottage, as well as the back yard. Sunrise cottage path is the right of way down to the water. Once down to the water, you will have full access to walk up and down the shore line. At high tide, you may have to walk on the road back to your cottage.brThere is another right of way path next to Sunrise cottage, please do not use the longer path, that is not on the property.
