The main cottage is rustic New England but super usable and beautiful. It's the place everyone gathers in various states of inside vs outside. The netted porch helps having beautiful dinners mosquito free and the dock and the multiple seating corners make this feel like a small campus. The new cottage has a clean nordic vibe. Everything needed is there and there are beautiful surroundings. Thanks for making such a special place available!brbrThis place is a big slice of heaven. Rustic but comfortable, the main house has a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for large groups and Maine lobster dinners. Guest house is more modern and just as comfortable, including a washer and dryer. Hosts are friendly and very responsive, respecting your privacy while being close at hand if needed. We can't say enough about the location.....the main house is perched on the rugged, rocky Maine coastline, while nearby Popham State Park offers a wild, expansive beach for walking. The sunsets will change your life and make you never want to leave.brbrSeptember 2021br,·Stayed with kidsbrAbsolutely stunning views of the ocean and neighboring cove. Our family of 4 plus partners was able to spread out in the 2 cottages, one full of history and charm and the other more modern, but both super comfortable and with every amenity you could imagine. Fully stocked kitchens, grills, fishing equipment, hot tub, made it possible for us to cook at home for most meals. We made several visits to Clam Hunters nearby, with the freshest clams, quahogs, and oysters that we enjoyed raw and grilled. Within 15 minutes driving are the amazing beauty spots of Bates College Morse Mountain (hike through woods and across marsh to the pristine Seawall Beach) and Popham Beach. But our favorite activity, and one that provided a profound calm and peace, was simply sitting on the porch, deck or in the hot tub and watching the
