Please smoke in your car or leave the neighborhood to do so if there is a fire ban or fire danger is high.brbrWINTER CONDITIONS: All Wheel Drive (AWD) or 4 Wheel Drive vehicle is strongly recommended Nov through April if it has snowed. The driveway and roads leading to the house can be difficult to navigate in the snow/mud without proper preparedness. The last half mile to the house is an unpaved road.brbrbrELEVATION: The house is situated at an elevation of just under 9,000 feet. Some people experience symptoms from the altitude (headache, sleepiness, dizziness, nausea, etc.). If you are coming from a lower elevation, we HIGHLY recommend giving yourself at least a day to acclimate in the Denver/Colorado Springs area. Staying super hydrated, having electrolytes, and avoiding alcohol can help prevent these symptoms. brbrNEIGHBORS: While the neighborhood is spread out, we do have full-time resident neighbors who live nearby. Please be considerate and observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 7AM.brbrPlease do not order Amazon packages to the house, as Amazon delivery is unreliable in our area. Walmart is more reliable if there is something you must have delivered, but the arrival of packages is sometimes delayed.

This rustic mountain getaway in beautiful Florissant Colorado is just minutes away from so many things, from the history and hiking of Florissant Fossil beds National Monument to the excitement of the Cripple Creek Casinos. Nearby you will also find the recreational areas of Pikes Peak and all of the attractions of Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. A short drive south (37miles) will find you at the magnificent Royal Gorge Bridge and the heart pounding thrills of white water rafting the Arkansas River. Our 2500 sq ft log home has a dazzling view of Pikes Peak from the living room or the spacious deck. The 3 bedroom home with the bonus sleeping arrangements downstairs easily sleeps 8 adults (a Pack and Play baby crib is also in the home). A 2020 remodel brought luxury and convivence to the home with updated bathrooms and all new kitchen appliances. The kitchen/dining area will comfortably seat your entire family and then some. In 2021 An automatic whole house emergency back up generator was added for guests security and peace of mind. In 2025 we are excited to share our new remodeled and replaced outside deck. This over 600 square foot elevated outdoor space is a popular hangout with its breathtaking view of Pikes Peak. Local wildlife that almost daily visit the property is a guest favorite.
