Stayed Apr 18, 2025It was secluded & quiet. Excellent view. WiFi signal strength was weak. It kept kicking me off. Also couldn’t even get local tv for news/weather. Shouldn’t be advertised if it’s not going to work. Water pressure could have been better but it did work enough for a weekend.

Stayed May 23, 2024Quiet and peaceful place to retreat after exploring the area. Shower pressure is awful, water was nice and hot though. Pans had nonstick coating flaking off, badly need replaced. It was nice that some games were provided.

Stayed Oct 9, 2025Super rural. Quiet. End of a long gravel road. Rustic. Shower was cold. On demand water heater doesn't keep up with shower flow. Decorations were cute. The whole house was cozy and warm. Kitchen was stocked with just enough cooking tools. No cookie sheet. No extras. Overall we had a good stay and the place fit what we needed for the most part. It is what it is. If you're looking for a getaway in the woods away from the rest of the world this is a good spot. If you're looking for super easy access to Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs you're not going to enjoy this spot. Note: Google maps routes you in a weird way that takes 35 minutes to get to Florissant. We tricked it into taking a different route by adding a stop at a different address and cute the time down to approximately 15 minutes. Super weird that it did that.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025The decorations seemed more Betsy Ross than Meandering Moose and there are definite room for improvements in water pressure, comfort, and working furnishings but still an affordable option with multiple bedrooms and a definite upgrade from a hotel.

Stayed Apr 28, 2025Pros-The cabin is a quaint relaxing place right at the end of a very off beat, remote path. It's nice and clean. Cons-The Wi-Fi is unreliable and went out very often. The tv is Wi-Fi /Roku and goes out a lot. The water pressure is extremely low making dish washing and showers tedious.Over all it was a nice getaway and I would stay again

Stayed Feb 13, 2025We loved the Meandering Moose Cabin! It was perfect for our first trip as a couple to Colorado. We loved drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings with the beautiful view, as well as the comfortable beds and location. Water pressure in the shower was a little low, but overall it was clean and fit all of our needs! Recommend for a short weekend/trip or stay :)
