We really enjoyed the peaceful setting. If you want to rest and recharge, this is a great place!

This property was absolutely stunning, it had everything you need for a relaxing enjoyable vacation. My favorite thing was the outside fireplace and the views! I would not want to stay anywhere else. Also make sure you drink plenty of water due to the elevation. And there are grocery stores about 20min away!

The cabin is beautifully maintained and loaded with fun things to do without even leaving the house.

Whispering Pines was one of the nicest and cleanest Vrbo’s my husband and I have stayed at. Everything was as stated in description. It is very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We loved eating outside on the deck every night. Every day we got a visit from a mama deer and 2 babies. Lots of hummingbirds come visit the feeders. This place is also close to Pikes peak, Garden of the Gods, Cog railway and Manitou Springs. I would definitely stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines! The cabin was very clean, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The host was friendly and the communication was great! Overall, the cabin was cozy and our family had an enjoyable time! We will definitely be staying here for future family vacations! :)

This place was perfect for our family vacation to Colorado. Very private and tucked away on a hillside. It had everything we needed, from the billiards room downstairs to the large wraparound deck with hot tub and outdoor fireplace. The decor inside is very cozy and somehow modern and rustic at the same time. The outdoor areas were fantastic as well with several benches and sitting spots to enjoy and watch our kids explore. This location checked every box for us and we highly recommend it!

We recently stayed at the Whispering Pines cabin and had a wonderful experience. The first thing that stood out was how exceptionally clean everything was. It’s obvious the owners take great pride in maintaining the cabin, and that immediately helped us relax after what had been a very stressful few weeks.The cabin was also thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the kitchen to the living spaces, it felt welcoming, peaceful, and perfectly set up for a quiet getaway. We were able to truly unplug and enjoy the surroundings without worrying about anything.The only very minor suggestion for improvement would be to provide basic toiletries such as soap and shampoo, as many travelers—like us—don’t always think to pack those items. That said, it was a small detail in what was otherwise an excellent stay.Overall, we highly recommend Whispering Pines cabin and would gladly stay here again.

The host was incredibly kind and helpful. This was the most enjoyable little weekend get away we have had on VRBO. This property was well maintained and clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here. Very close to lots of outdoor activities and fun things to do. 10/10

This property was just as it appeared in the pictures. Everything was great, clean and in working order. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and all around was a great host. We enjoyed our stay in this mountain retreat and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place.

We loved the house, a little far from all of the entertainment in town. On average we had to drive about 40 minutes for all of the stuff in town. But other than that we loved the vibe in the mountains with nobody else around. We will for sure stay here next time.

This was the perfect space for our active family of five. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. Instructions from the property manager were clear and the process was well organized. We especially enjoyed the large deck, pool table, and overall outdoor space!

Our stay at Whispering Pines exceeded all expectations! The cabin and surrounding area are even prettier than the pictures reflect. Checking in was a breeze and the cabin was spotless when we arrived. The host (Michael) provided everything needed for a wonderful stay. The cabin was well equipped with all the essentials. The outdoor gas fireplace and hot tub added a special touch. A visit from a family of deer very close to the cabin put our stay over the top! We plan to return as soon as we can!

House was beautiful!! As our kids said by far the best vacation house we have ever stayed at. My only regret is not booking another night. We are already planning a return trip!!

This was our second vacation stay at this cabin which says a lot. The cabin is gorgeous and exceptionally clean. The location is perfect; you're situated among tons of pine trees and boulders and you're just a couple minutes from Hwy 24 that takes you everywhere. Everything you need is stocked and ready for use. This is definitely our go to for a getaway!

Did a quick getaway and the cabin is perfect.

We stayed in this house from 6/21-6/28. First impressions? The pictures don't do this house justice. My (now Fiancé) and I stayed downstairs and let my two teenage daughters use what was considered the master bedroom upstairs since it had 2 beds. The house was well laid out, hot tub was nice, we had nearly everything we needed for cooking. The one an only thing we were missing was an iron/ironing board as we had family pictures we needed to prep our clothes for. Other than that, we can't find one issue. The driveway is steep and tight, if I wasn't driving a big 3/4 ton diesel I could have climbed it in 2wd, but if you have a big heavy truck like mine and it is only 2wd you may have issues. I will absolutely stay here again if we end back up in the area. Again, this is one of those times the house is even better than the pictures. Thank you for a great place for a family vacation we will never forget!

The house was beautiful! Well put together and taken care of, very clean, no detail was forgotten. Host was easy to reach (we had a couple questions before arrival), he provided check-in instructions ahead of time, it makes me nervous when some wait til the day of. I highly recommend this property, we would definitely stay again!

This property is gorgeous and met every single need of our family of 4! We spent our days hiking or being tourists and returned to our luxury retreat in the woods! We loved having family breakfast before getting our day started and relaxing in the hot tub after our long hikes!

The cabin was everything as described, even better! Clean, a full kitchen, views! Just perfect for a little getaway to celebrate our oldest turning 13! And just enough off the beaten path to feel like you have your own little slice of heaven.

Four of us stayed in this house for two nights. It is such a beautiful house, and very comfortable. Several places to sit and lounge, eat, and play board games (inside and out). The loft area is so cozy and adorably set up.We thought the beds were great and there were plenty of towels and linens.The kitchen is one of the most well stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils that I've ever experienced. You will need to bring condiments with you if you plan to cook. But they do have it stocked with herbs/spices, some cooking oil and pancake syrup. One of our favorite spaces was the deck and hot tub (which was nice and spacious). We did have issues with the fireplaces, but I get the feeling that was a one-off occurrence. We contacted the owner about it, and I'm sure they made sure it was all set for the next occupants. We loved the pool table in the lower level, and played several rounds.The only reason I gave the location four stars was because we were close enough to a highway to hear the cars rushing by. But if that doesn't bother you, it's a 5-star location, too! The site is beautiful and very interesting. Every view from the house is immersive, feeling away from it all. Cute little branch teepees are on the property, making it very fun to explore. There are all kinds of things to find.All in all, we loved this place and would definitely stay here again!

We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it clear the owners truly care about their guests’ experience. Whether we were sipping coffee on the large deck, enjoying the hot tub under the stars, or simply relaxing by the fireplace, every moment felt like a true escape.We’ve stayed in many cabins over the years, and this one stands out as one of our favorites. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to the best the area has to offer.

Very cozy cabin - spacious and all the things you’ll need. Views are amazing and don’t think we’ve ever stayed a a cleaner place.

I booked this stay for my wife and I anniversary. The location was absolutely quiet and peaceful, easy to get to, and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook.

It was a great place close to a ton of fun things to do outside. Our only complaint is that there was practically no curtains in the house. The bathrooms had half curtains but the living room and kitchen were completely open. I think this is more of a personal preference in my opinion. Otherwise it was great.

Everything was fantastic. Beds were comfortable, fireplace was beautiful, Mountain Views from the hot tub, everything was superb. Pool table in the basement was fun as were all the games that they had in the loft. Very well maintained property, just like the other one this owner has next door that we have also stayed at.

Our host communicated with us very quickly, and we have no complaints. The driveway is fairly steep with a 90-degree turn, so our minivan had trouble with it. When the reservation says four-wheel-drive is highly recommended, take it seriously!

This property was exactly what we needed for some time away from school and work and the city. I took my 18 year old daughter here for her birthday and we had the best time. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked and has every tool/accessory you can think of. The beds were very cozy and had lots of blankets available - which I appreciated. We enjoyed playing the games provided and watching movies. We especially loved the fire place that you could turn on and off with the push of a button and the wonderful hot tub, which we used every night. The property itself was breathtaking and had so much snow on the ground. We really enjoyed walking around the property and sinking in the snow and taking in the views and fresh mountain air. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful outside and inside the cabin. We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves any more and I am grateful that we found this place. It was perfect!

Everything is exactly how it is described in the listing. BUT, pictures don’t do it justice. You have to experience it in person. This property delivers in so many ways. Your first impression, “amazing”. The moment you walk through the door, you feel like your home. There is not one detailed missed.or one amenity overlooked. Michael is a fabulous host, communication spot on, answering questions quickly. Side note, if you are planning on visiting during snow season, rent or drive a 4 wheel drive. We could not of asked for a better experience than what we received. Thank you Michael for allowing us the privilege to stay in such a wonderful home.

This property is exactly as described and so sweet. It was clean and neat. Layout was easy to navigate and all the information we needed was in the binder. Host was also easy to contact and responded quickly. The location is absolutely beautiful! We were there in winter and did definitely need a 4x4 (or all-wheel) to get up the slippery slope but soooo worth it. You feel nestled in the woods; there were deer walking right past the window. It was a sweet, snowy hideaway. We watched movies in the living room with the fireplace going and played pool downstairs while watching the snow. We would love to go back and bring our kiddos next time. Also, highly recommend Grandmother's Kitchen for breakfast in Woodland Park. It's been good every time we've visited over the last 15 years.

Exactly as described with all the amenities you could hope for. Tucked into beautiful snowy woods,it never actively snowed while we were there, there was still plenty to see, play and take beautiful pictures around!

Awesome house! So comfy and welcoming. Fully stocked kitchen, games and puzzles for the kiddos, hot tub and fireplace inside and out. We did not want to leave.

This has been our favorite place to stay so far. The cabin was amazing. Everything was just as advertised and even better than we had expected.

My son and I stayed at the home over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking a holiday meal. The home is a good space to get away. There are neighbors, but they are hard to see through the trees. My son loved playing in the snow around the house and explore. There was even a nice surprise when we pulled up of a swing hanging from the deck. We loved every minute of it and it was a nice home away from home. The host, Michael, is quick to respond to questions, which I appreciated. We would definitely stay in the home again.

The weather did not cooperate for the beginning of our stay. Michael went above and beyond to communicate with us and do whatever he could to get us into the house. We were able to get in a day after the initial date we booked and that was only possible due to his efforts to get the house cleaned and driveway cleared. It was a great house to be snowed in for a couple of days.

The property worked great for our family of five. The hot tub and pool table were definitely a hit. The location was great for exploring different areas around Pike’s Peak.

We loved our stay here! The home is very well taken care of and has all that you might need. We enjoyed the secluded location, the layout of the home, the hot tub and pool table. I would recommend getting groceries in Woodland Park. We enjoyed the wolf wildlife center tour as well as the fossil exhibit and trails which were nearby. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
