Bear Cub Lodge- Amazing Pikes Peak View! Hot tub! Ping Pong Table! 6 Acres! WiFi

The house was beautiful and the view was breath taking, but the whole house was dusty. We had to sweep the top floor and make sure to air out the house.

We very much enjoyed our stay, very clean, decorated beautifully, so many fun things to do in the cabin, ping pong, foosball, lots of board games that the whole family enjoyed. Michael is wonderful to communicate with, anytime I sent him a message he got right back to me. We would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin. We had a family vacation the first one in a long time and we made wonderful memories here.

We had an exceptional stay and couldn’t have asked for a better mountain getaway. The home was comfortable, well-appointed, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Our kids especially loved the bear scavenger hunt—it was a fun and thoughtful touch that made the trip even more memorable. We would absolutely recommend this property to others and would happily stay here again!

We had such a great time at this property. We brought our 3 young children who absolutely loved climbing around on the rocks and exploring everything the Bear Cub Lodge had to offer. The home was absolutely beautiful and equipped with everything a young family could want. We have a crawler and at no time worried about the cleanliness of the home. There was even a nice secure gate to keep him off the stairs! The game selection was amazing, and the foosball and ping pong table were a huge bonus. On top of that, the hot tub was a great way to relax after exploring the surrounding mountains. The hosts were extremely gracious, and we want to publicly thank them for offering their beautiful home for us flat-landers to enjoy. If we are ever back in the area, we will absolutely stay there again! Thank you Michael, Randy, and Sara for the great escape!

The house could not be be more amazing! We fell in love with it. It’s probably the nicest VRBO house I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts were amazing as well. We had an issue the morning we were leaving, not with the house, but with the road conditions and they were very, very helpful and communication was very quick. I cannot say enough how wonderful this house was.

You can’t go wrong with this property!! The views are so stunning! You’ll have absolutely everything you need! It was just like being at home! Communication was FANTASTIC! Quick to respond with help with the tv and prior to arrival we had all the information we needed. 100% recommend!!!!

We, along with some friends wanted to get away and decompress and relax. We did just that! We got our groceries before we got to the house and and never left until check out time. We were there for 3 nights. We were able to play games, relax in the hot tub and sit outside and listen to mother nature while reading our books. AMAZING view of Pikes Peak! The communication with the host Michael was outstanding! Would highly recommend for a couples or a family get away.

Everything you need, like a home away from home. Minus the 360 exterior security camaras it was very private spot.

The Bear Cub Lodge was the perfect place for our vacation in CO. The cabin was clean and well kept. The hot tub off the primary bedroom was perfect! The views from nearly every room was a treat. We found time to play the board games and games in the garage! There was not one thing we did not love about this place. It was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning home. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend staying here. The drive to Breckenridge wasn’t bad. You absolutely have to visit the Colorado Wolf Sanctuary

We had a great time at Bear Cub Lodge. The property and surrounding area was beautiful. The view from the deck and living area of Pike’s Peak made for a beautiful view. We spent alot of our time in Manitou Springs and the drive to and from wasn’t bad at all. Lots of good eats in Divide and Woodland Park. Gorgeous scenery. Lots of things to do in the area. Communication with the owner was great. We would definitely recommend this and would stay here again!

Everything was amazing

I stayed here with my husband, two boys and my dad and mother in law. The house was perfect. The main living area was up stairs, very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of windows so you can enjoy the scenery. The boys and I have never seen snow. They woke up on the first day like it was Christmas morning. We had so much fun playing in the existing snow, and got lucky and had fresh snow to play in a couple times during our stay. They had great amenities with the ping pong table, football, snowball maker things, little sled seat things. Which my boys loved using to slide down the hill in the back of the property!! They include rocks/guest book for you to decorate/ leave a note. Such an adorable touch to see other peoples notes that have stayed. My only small disappointment was, I packed a few dvds to watch with he family and there wasn't a dvd player. But they did have tis that you could access Netflix and such. So, over all not a big deal. We created such wonderful memories. Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

Clean, adorable, beautiful, I could use more positive adjectives but seriously great for a staycation outside of the Springs. Drive was easy, town isn’t far away if you need anything. Heated floors, amazing view of pikes peak. Kids had a blast “hunting for bears” around the property. Clearly a well maintained property. Up to date & had amenities.

Lovely cabin getaway!We’ve stayed at the owner’s other cabin several times, and this was our first time at this one. It was just as wonderful. The cabin is spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. It’s close to plenty of family-friendly activities yet still feels peaceful and secluded. The owner is always so kind, responsive, and easy to work with. We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to coming back!

Everything exceeded our expectations

Very clean, comfortable, homey feeling lodge. Seems like you are in the middle of nowhere yet remarkably close to anything you want to do. Mueller State Park is a gem if you like hiking. Highly recommend this VRBO!

The Bear Cub cabin we rented through VRBO in Florissant, Colorado was an absolutely AWESOME experience! It had all of the amenities of a 5 star hotel with a GORGEOUS view of Pikes Peak and was located in a beautiful location surrounded by nature at its finest.During our week's stay we enjoyed day trips to Cripple Creek, Canon City and Colorado Springs. In addition, we rode the Royal Gorge train, took a fabulous jeep ride with Colorado Jeep Tours and took many beautiful scenic drives culminating with our drive through the Garden of the Gods.Most of all for me, I enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this cabin afforded. Each morning while sipping on a hot cup of Joe watching the sun rise up over the mountains and being surrounded by God's beauty was truly a Blessing.

This was our third year at this property and it was absolutely wonderful as always beautiful views, great house and just a great time! The host is very responsive when we ask a question or need something. We definitely recommend this place.

This is a nice quiet place to stay with a awesome view of the backside of Pikes Peak. We were there just to relax and connect with our adult kids and their husbands. The house had everything you would need for cooking meals, but the food. I loved the kitchen and living area, they are wide open, with many windows.

Exactly as advertised online! Top quality finishes throughout the house, well-furnished, and felt like a home. The view of Pike's Peak was fantastic, and the deck had plenty of room and seating (as well as a hot tub). The owners were very responsive when we had questions. We utilized and enjoyed the full kitchen and provided games. The owners also have another cabin next door--renting both cabins works great for large groups! Great place for people of all ages!

Great accomidations, wish all bedrooms had TV. Defifately need AWD due to loose gravel and slope.

We are from MN - Colorado and Bear Cub Lodge was our first trip to the mountains with the kids, and this place took our breath away. The kids (13,15,17) explored the large area surrounding the house and would disappear for a couple hours at a time. That’s what I wanted! - To see them make an adventure out of the rocks, hilly landscape, and then come home to play some ping pong, foosball, and end the night in the hot tub. As far as a stocked kitchen - if they don’t have it, you don’t need it. This is actually one of the more robustly stocked kitchens I’ve ever rented, and the upgraded appliances are really nice. I would have to say my favorite thing is actually the book the owner put together. It is one of the most robust and informative of its kind I have seen in any rental I have had. I highly recommend going to Woodland Park and spending a day there just browsing the town. Grab yourself a beer at the local brewery, do some shopping and, if you’re like me and like to get a tattoo when I travel, Celestial Tattoo is phenomenal. The family really loved the dinosaur museum as well. We did white water rafting in Buena Vista (also the highest concentration of mountain peaks over 14,000 feet in the lower 48 ). Garden of the Gods is only 40 minutes away, and Eleven Mile Canyon is a MUST!Also, if anyone is curious, we are “bed snobs,” and these beds are extremely comfortable! Take it from me - this host has his stuff together!

Bear Cub Lodge was amazing! The cabin was remote and yet close enough to the events we had planned. We had everything we needed for our stay and more This is such an awesome cabin and we hope that next time we come back (we will!) the fire pit will be available to be used. Beautiful home, great view, quiet aera.

This cabin was very clean, spacious and had a well equiped kitchen, game room and game/kids area. We can't wait to stay here again. The cabin was better than the pictures showed and the views were amazing.

Everyone in the group was impressed with Bear Club Lodge. The house was very clean and well kept up. The owner was very responsive with all communications especially leading up to our planned stay.

It was great! Excellent views, super quiet, and adequately supplied. Anything you need to know is in the book. We asked the owner questions and he responded quick but we later found the answers in the book. It was a great time and the location was absolutely breathtaking. Definitely recommend this home.

A perfect girls getaway to the serene mountains! Just 3 of us this trip. Friends since middle school and now in our 50’s, spent a couple nights here to catch up and have fun! Played games, watched chick flicks, ate great food and enjoyed the views. Mike was a great host and very responsive. Beautiful home!!

You will not regret staying at Bear Cub. This was our second stay and can’t wait for the next. You will want 4 wheel drive. Furniture is comfortable and kitchen is well stocked with gadgets for those that enjoy cooking. Hot tub is great as are the games in the basement. There are also puzzles and games in the living room closet. And the views are amazing!

The cabin was fantastic and met all of our needs with a fully kitchen! The host, Michael was on point and responded quickly. I appreciated the fact that there was a decorated Christmas tree made my life a lot easier with 3 kids. It snowed a little bit on Christmas day which ended our vacation with a dream come true. It was rejuvenating experience that was as relaxing as it was soothing. The views were majestically breathtaking and a real sight to behold. We really enjoyed the heated floors and the wood pile was stocked so we could enjoy the cold snowy days cozied up by the fire.

Great views, great mountain house set up to make visitors feel like they are at a second home. Held a Friendsgiving with two families. Kitchen well we equipped and their was plenty of activities for the kids and adults between the games set up in the garage and the board game closet.

We came to CO to visit CO Springs. We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful state and home! Even though it was a bitbof a drive to town, it was completely worth it. The views from this house are beautiful. Especially enjoyed the sunrise .ove.mmoumountain

one of my favorite places

This hoem was a great get away for our group that visited Colorado for some outdoor adventure and hiking. The home had great views, an awesome open floorplan and plenty of extras to help fill the downtime such as board games, ping pong, cornhole and more. It snowed while we were there but the driveway was plowed early without us requesting any assistance. Very clean and would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Bear Cub Lodge was great! Our host offered several great suggestions on things to do in the area and places to eat. We had a little hiccup with the hot water but he answered very quickly and offered a temporary solution, as well as kept us updated on repairing. The views were amazing! The house was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed playing UNO and hot tubbing in the evenings after our days of exploring the surrounding communities. We had the best stay... Perfect relaxing vacation with our two adult/teen children. I always look for a cabin with a view but away from others and this one was perfect. Cabin is just like the pictures. Everything is cozy and comfortable. Absolutely loved the tub in the master bathroom. Owner gives clear instructions for everything which was great. We had a small issue with our code for the door not working, but called Michael and he answered and fixed the issue immediately. We left the back door open one evening to enjoy the breeze while sitting at the table eating dinner and much to our surprise a deer came right outside the door to eat some plants. Our first trip to Colorado was the best! Thank you for opening your cabin to us!
