The Majestic Pines Mountain House (EP 3064) is a beautiful and comfortable 3,644 sq ft house in a forest setting with a tall vaulted ceiling and large windows.br➡Enjoy stunning views of Twin Sisters and Longs Peak.br➡Relax in the private hot tub after a day of sightseeing or hiking.br➡Ride the mountain coaster with unlimited ride passes (see below).br➡Easily drive to RMNP (Only 6 miles).br➡Play arcade games, air hockey, foosball, Nintendo Switch games.br➡Sleep on king beds.br➡Park in the heated garage.br➡Enjoy the cozy fireplace at night and watch movies and shows on Netflix/Disney+/HBO MaxbrbrbrThe house has four unlimited ride passes to the Mustang Mountain Coaster that you are welcome to use during your stay. Zip through the forest at nearly 30 mph or take it slow and enjoy the scenery down 3,000 ft of track. You can ride the coaster alone or with a passenger. The coaster is located at 1180 Dry Gulch Rd in Estes Park, which is a 5.5 mile drive (approximately 10 minutes) from the house. Please call or visit their website for days and hours of operation. (Some days they are closed.) Please note, there is a $250 replacement fee for each pass that is missing from the house upon check-out.brbrDue to my house cleaner's schedule, I am unable to make arrangements for an early check in or a late check out. On the day of check in, I will send you a message as soon as the house is ready to go. (The house is typically ready to go between 3pm and 4pm.)brbrMy insurance company does not allow for any open flames or outdoor smoking at the house due to fire risk.brbrThe house is connected to the town's Trailblazer fiber optic gigabit internet service. The hot tub is available year round but cannot be used during high winds.brbrDuring the autumn, winter, and spring, I strongly recommend you bring a vehicle with 4WD / AWD. The driveway to the house is paved, but it is long, S shaped, and at an incline. 4WD / AWD will help you get up the driveway when there is snow and ice. The town generally does a good job of plowing and sanding the roads in the neighborhood in a timely manner after each snow storm, but if you need to drive while the snow is still falling, or you are going up to higher elevations such as Rocky Mountain National Park where they tend to get more snow, it's a good idea to have it. brbrThe house is decorated for the holidays with an artificial Christmas tree and Christmas wreath. (Typically the week after Thanksgiving through New Year's Day)

Bay window looking out to the front yard and views of Prospect Mountain.brbrBACKYARD:brMost of the yard is in the back and extends all the way to the fence in the far distance and to the side fences (there is a map on the refrigerator that shows property boundaries). The large decks and firepit areas allow for family togetherness and enjoyment with the propane bbq grill, seating and backyard games (corn-hole and frisbee golf), and multiple places for small group gatherings. The gas fire pits use a propane tank, and we have 1 extra tank on site in case you run out. Please do let us know if you use up one of the tanks so we can be sure to get it replaced for our next guests. Looking west, you will see Prospect Mountain nearby and then through the backyard ponderosa pines, you will see the rays from the sun setting on Lumpy Ridge to the north.brbrMany birds make their homes in our ponderosa pines. In the yard, you'll be among rabbits, chipmunks, and butterflies (in the summer months). Mule deer and elk are frequent visitors, sometimes munching on the natural mountain grasses and wildflowers or even napping on the property! There are mountain lions, black bear and bobcats in the area though seldom seen.brbrCOOLING:brNo A/C. Our nights are cool even during the warmest days. All bedrooms are equipped with fans and cool down quickly with open windows, the setting sun, and our fresh mountain breeze. A/C is not the norm and seldom needed as Estes Park is a mild mountain climate and during the summer we are generally 10-15 degrees cooler than the nearby lower elevations of Colorado. The large shade trees and excellent insulation of this house keep it particularly comfortable in all seasons.brbrSHED:brReserved for cleaner's supplies and maintenance tools.brbrPINECONES:brYES! You may take home bags and bags of fallen pine cones for your winter crafts and decorations. hahaha! But seriously, please feel free to!brbrCLEANING:brWe paying a living wage to our cleaners, and actually pay more than the cost you see on your reservation. Please care for our property as you would want your own to be cared for, the routine cleaning and disinfecting takes several hours between guests. We do not ask our guests to strip beds or start any laundry. We only ask that you start the dishwasher and take your trash out to the bear can.brbrDOGS:brWe are happy to welcome dogs who are good travelers. Here are our pet rules:br-must be very well house and potty trained, even in unfamiliar places.br-no excessive barking while inside or outside.br-no digging in the yard.br-please clean up after them outside each time they go potty.br-please keep them off the bedding and furniture, or lay down provided dog-specific blankets on couch for them to rest on.br-must not be left unattended in the home or on the premise. We went for a hiking experience but were pleasantly greeted by deer in the evening and all of the comforts` - Tylerbrbr`We used the hot tub every night and watched deer and turkeys walking by! Bed was super comfy (which is important) and location convenient to downtown Estes and the Park.` - Amandabrbr`Amazing!! Wonderful and comfortable bed. Pillows are amazing!! Great, cute space.` - Ryanbrbr*** HOUSE RULES ***brbr- Quiet Hours from 9pm and 8am. We live upstairs but this is an entirely private guest suite in our walkout basement. You`ll have your own separate living space and there are no shared areas. The hot tub, lower patio & grill is for our guests only! br- No smoking inside or outside; no fire pits; no parties. br- Guests must do dishes at checkout (we have negotiated a lower cleaning fee based on this).br- No early check in or late checkouts. Check in is 4pm or later; check out is 10am or earlier.br- Dogs allowed and there is non-negotiable pet fee per stay, up to 1 dog max. Note that the yard is not fenced, pets must be crated if unattended, and no absolutely no pets on the furniture or bed. brbr*** THANKS *** brbrOur unit is a completely remodeled 1 bed/1 bath apartment in the home`s walkout basement, set up with an efficient and useful kitchenette, comfy sofa and living area, luxury king bed, and a bathroom with shower. brbrOur favorite part of the unit is the private hot tub for guest use only. It`s separated off by wooden lattice with bistro lights so you can enjoy a soak after a long day hiking in the mountains. brbrWhile we live upstairs, understand you`ll have your own private studio, kitchenette, bathroom, patio and entrance as shown in the photos. You probably won`t see us unless you need us, and we give guests privacy. We figure that`s why you`re here in the mountains in the first place! brbrOur bed has a brand new Leesa king-size memory foam mattress. It`s actually more comfy than our own bed :)brbrWe`ve also got a pullout queen size sofa bed for extra guests, so the unit can accommodate 3 or 4 people. Note there`s an extra per person fee for more than 2 people. brbrOur home is located in a fantastic rural neighborhood on the slopes of Prospect Mountain, so you`ll likely spy lots of wildlife grazing in our backyard. brbrThe kitchenette features a fridge and freezer, a two burner induction cooktop, toaster, new pots/pans, dishes and cutlery, coffee maker and more. Or you can stroll over to the golf course, about 10 minutes by foot, and hit the driving range and enjoy Smokin` Daves BBQ. Within a few minutes by car you`ll find a mini market, Dollar General, Avant Garde Brewing, and multiple restaurants. Please respect the nieghborhood quiet hours between 9pm and 8am.brbrOur home is centrally located, close to the downtown area as well as the National Park. The Beaver Meadows entry gate is 12 minutes by car, and the heart of downtown is a quick 5 minute drive. If you`d like to avoid driving, you can walk 15 minutes to the town`s shuttle bus stop at Ziggi`s Coffee and take the free shuttle bus system throughout town and into the National Park (only during the summer months).brbrNote that we live upstairs and quiet hours are between 9pm and 8am, but our rental is a completely private guest suite with its own bathroom, bedroom, kitchenette, living room, and patio.
