This property is in the perfect location. You just walk across the low traffic street and you are on the main tourist road that runs through the main part of town. Restaurants and stores are all way walking distance (like a 5 minute or less walk) and the bridge/park you have to walk through when crossing the street is beautiful and has a water wheel perfect for the background of pictures. The house was great and kept us warm during the cold days and cool during the hot days. We rented both upstairs and downstairs so had two kitchens and it worked great since we had both my wife and I and my daughter and her family. There is an awesome jacuzzi tub that is so deep that it actually does more than just cover your legs like in regular tubs. Check in was super easy and check out was easier than other VRBOs we stayed at. I'm so glad we stayed here rather than the other choices because of the location. Location is awesome. Kids could easily walk across the street and we rarely had to drive because of it unlike other relatives who were in town at same time. Also during snow we had no troubles unlike other relatives who stayed at other places who ran into problems. Would definitely stay here again, mainly because of location— you change beat it. There is no other place we could find with a better one.

Kitchen well stocked with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils,Nice tables and chairs in kitchen and dining room.Living room furniture comfortable. Heaters worked well and we’re quiet except loud if upstairs heater was on and someone sleeping downstairs. We just kept heating off overnight. Bathrooms are great, wall fireplaces cozy.Location is great close to downtown but quiet!

Listing was very accurate in both description and photos. Home was well stocked with all the basic needs. Plenty spacious enough for our group for the week. Very short walk to downtown Estes Park and all the restaurants we visited each night. We would re-book this home again if it was available on our next visit.

The heat was not working, which we learned when we returned from dinner the first night. The manager was responsive and sent someone over to fix it. The bathrooms were not particularly clean - drips on walls and doors, dirt build up on the trim. Shower tile had some discoloration in the corners from orange mold. It is quite old and smells a bit musty. It is a very average rental. The location is great.

Spacious and very conveniently located! We loved that there was the downstairs living area in addition to the main floor living.

We have stayed there before, so knew what to expect. It's comfortable & clean & we had a family of elk park themselves in the side yard for a while. There are some issues that need attention. Furnace didn't work, so Ts were in the low 60s at night to morning. Luckily, we didn't have cold weather. Water is dripping from freezer to frig - lower level. Two chairs down there have exposed screws

Excellent location. Overlooks a little river where people gather to eat ice cream. One sunny and one shady place to sit outside. Comfortable beds. Lots of room to spread out and clean bathrooms.

We had an amazing stay at Stone’s Throw. The house is very clean and spacious. It is in a great location to enter RMNP and a short walk to town. We sat out on the deck every evening. We used the grill and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved everything about the house and the teens loved being able to walk to town for an afternoon ice cream.

Great communication with the owner. Sadly couldn’t attend last minute due to a sick family member. Really appreciated all of the area info provided with the VRBO, it helped with planning activities and restaurant reservations. I was looking forward to an enjoyable trip at this property, hopefully another time.

Overall, really cute place. One of the beds was extremly hard, and we would have stayed in the basement if it didn't have an outside door in it, but we made it work.

This property was excellent. There was plenty of space for us to spread out. The best part was the location, the name couldn’t be more accurate. We were able to walk around downtown from the house anytime we wanted and barely had Toto leftovers for anything. It is only 10 minutes or so to the national park and convenient to get anyway. We would absolutely stay here again.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Estes that is in town, this is perfect for you! The location is great. I didn't want to have to walk up and down the hill to get into town, and with this house you don't have to. The house was perfect for a Girl's Trip of 4. We each had our own room. The basement even has its own entrance, so would be great for a large family also. Nice deck off the back to sit and relax.
