Also just a quick stroll to the locally owned and operated General Store, this is the gathering spot for your morning coffee, a great take out lunch or any last minute items you need for a picnic at the beach. Just a few more steps down the beach, enjoy a summer cocktail, light lunch or very nice dinner at the Stone's Throw Restaurant. Jump on the trolley or walk to downtown York Beach. There, you will find many more restaurants, bars, shopping, a great playground for the kids and York's Wild Kingdom. This is a zoo and small amusement park. Play mini-golf, ride the Carousel, see the animals and enjoy some cotton candy. We require a minimum stay of 7 nights during the summer and unfortunately, we do not accept pets. There is a large yard and lots of parking just 3 - 4 minutes walk to Long Sands Beach and the local surf shop and beachside restaurants. If you want to head to Short Sands beach, arcades and bars its just a little longer of a walk. This home sits between both beaches and just down the road from the Historic Nubble Lighthouse.brbrOur home is a brand new remodeled carriage house which sleeps up to 18 people. The fine touches are just now being made to the exterior with that modern farmhouse board and batten flair and all new landscaping. Entering the home through double wide doors allows the beach air to come right in to a large gathering and family room open to the kitchen, dining and a bar area connected to the outside deck. brbrThe gathering room has seating nooks under each window, a beautiful gas fireplace, 65 inch TV and plenty of room for seating. This room connects to the open kitchen and dining room with a designated coffee bar and large island. Our home has a bar room which has a 50 inch TV and bar connecting to the outside deck with a slider to the deck. The first floor also has a full bathroom and washer and dryer to use when you come back from a busy day at the beach.brbrThere is one bedroom on the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor. The first floor bedroom has two queen size beds and a closet for easy access. The second floor has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bedroom with a king size bed and a bedroom with 6 twin beds (and a peak a boo view of the ocean). There are also two brand new roll aways twin beds that can be added to any of the rooms. All of the bedrooms have TVs too! brbrThe master bedroom has a walk in closet and a master bathroom with a walk in glass shower. The second floor has a large second floor full bath with a fully tiled bathtub. There is a game room on the second floor with a queen sized pull out sofa with a large screen TV and skylights. Our home also has a room with retro refridgerator, bar sink, large screen TV and living room area with views of Long Sands Beach. A French door window when opened allows the ocean breeze to come right in.

When you walk into the first floor hall area you'll first notice the amazing tile floor with a kitchenette area. This includes a full fridge/freezer with a sink and cabinet/counter space. this space is ideal for loading and unloading drinks from the beach. The first floor has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with large tile glass enclosed showers!!. Bedrooms #1-3 have queen beds. Bedrooms #4 and #5 both have queen beds and a set of bunk beds. Custom hard wood floors throughout all of the bedrooms. brbrOn the second floor you have an open concept Kitchen/dining/living space. Adorned with new granite counters, a massive kitchen island, and stainless steel appliances, the chef's kitchen is truly one of the many gems of this house. A 13 Ft. kitchen table holds up to 16 people with plenty of elbow room. The massive 5Ft by 8Ft granite island holds 6 stools which is a great spot to sit and either eat, help cook or just watch the cook in action. brThe living space has 2 leather couches, a rocking chair and 2 more side chairs. There is plenty of space to gather around and enjoy each others company. This room also has a 70 flatscreen HDTV. Stay connected with the fast WiFi.brThe second floor also has a large full bath with a tub and stackable front loading washer/dryer. The tub is very helpful when bringing your young ones home after a long fun day at the beach. brFrom the kitchen you have amazing views of long sands beach. Just beyond he kitchen table there its a large slider which leads to a second floor deck. This is an especially nice place to sit and have coffee in the morning while listening and watching the waves. brbrBut wait there is more....The 3rd floor has bedrooms #6-#8. 2 have queen size beds and the third is a new king bed. On this floor is a nice area to escape, there is a sitting area with a couch which has views of the ocean. The third also has your 4th full bathroom. Just beyond the couch in the sitting area is a large slider which leads to the best part of this house.....the 3rd floor deck with glass railings. This house is just a short walk to the beach but with the 3rd floor deck for lying out in the sun and the ocean views you don't even need to go to the beach if you don't want to.. brbrLess than 600 feet to Long Sands Beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches around.
