The popular and beautiful town of Camden is one mile away and Camden Hills State Park is just three miles north; while Rockland--the Arts Capital of Maine--and the ferries to Vinalhaven or North Haven islands are easy (~5 mile) drive away, with charming Port Clyde with ferry to Mohegan, Tenants Harbor and Cushing are a few miles further beyond Rockland. Or visit eclectic Belfast, just ~20 minutes north. Take a beautiful day trip to Acadia National Park for fun activities in Bar Harbor.
