This 3 bedroom, ocean front property is located just south of Perkins Cove and includes a generous backyard that leads to a secluded, private pebble beach. brbrWatch the sailboats and lobstermen come in and out of Perkins Cove or swim in the clear, protected water without the crowds. The lawn extends directly to the beach and can accommodate activities of all kinds (including cocktails and napping). brbrThe open first floor allows for unobstructed views of the Gulf of Maine while prepping in the kitchen, enjoying a sit-down meal or relaxing in the living room. brbrAll three bedrooms are located on the second floor and offer beautiful coastal views with windows to let in the ocean breezes. brbrThe primary bedroom includes an en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms have desks in case work just can’t wait. There are two twin beds in the unfinished basement as well as additional seating and a washer/dryer. brbrAll the comforts of home are provided including bed linens, bath and beach towels. brbrThe home is situated on almost an acre of property that is only accessible from a private lane off of Shore Road. This beautiful property was originally part of “Ye Olde Perkin’s Farm” (circa 1717) where a former pasture still extends to the back of the house. Local legend has it that the cove was named after a bootlegger who made his smuggling runs through the inlet. brbrGuests of Jack's Cove are just minutes away from Perkins Cove, the Marginal Way and downtown while enjoying the beautiful Maine coast on the only private beach in Ogunquit. A unique gem of a rental!brbrCleaning fee of $325, plus 9% Maine tax will be applied to the balance when booking.brbrMost of the year there is a three night minimum, however during the summer months the town of Ogunquit requires at least a seven day stay. Our summer reservations are from Saturday to Saturday.brbrWe are unable to host weddings and events.
