However, due to our private septic system we are limiting our number of guests to 6.brbrIn the fall, winter and spring, enjoy hiking, ice fishing, skiing (we are 30-60 minute drive from several ski resorts) and relaxing in the hot tub and game night around the woodstove or toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. brbrThe main floor has the master king suite with adjoining bathroom and walk in closet, a second bedroom with twin beds, a third bedroom with bunk beds, kitchen, living room, dining area, laundry room and second bathroom with a tub. The lower level offers one king bedroom suite, and a great room (couches to be added by spring of 2025) with a rug and a game table. The back deck is off the main level and has a large table for dining with an umbrella, a gas grill, conversational seating area and a hot tub. brbrPlenty of hiking trails nearby, wildlife, fishing, ski resorts, vintage shopping and antiquing in the local towns. The fishing is great and the water is calm (and warm!), making it ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding. Water levels of the pond vary, but it tends to be shallow with some vegetation only directly in front of the camp. Once out on the pond, the water is nice and clear for swimming. Remodeled Waterfront Cabin on Cobbosseecontee Lake in Winthrop, ME that was built on a trolley frame from the early 1900s has all of the comforts of home including brand new stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, dishwasher, water cooler, and three queen sized beds plus a double sleeper sofa. Outside is a picnic table with umbrella, solo stove fire-pit, and plenty of chairs to sit by the fire. The cabin is a 2 minute walk to the wonderful White Duck Pub and a short drive to the Woodshed.brbrThe spacebrOur camp is 2 stories. The first floor has the master bedroom, living area, kitchen and bathroom and a screened in porch. The upstairs is one giant room with 2 separate sleeping areas that are opened to each other (NOT 2 private bedrooms). There is a seating area on the second floor as well. We are located on the water and at the Lakeside Marina. The marina offers boats for rent. You cannot swim in the lake near the marina (boat traffic and weeds) but you can rent a boat and easily swim in the main lake.brbr
