The cast iron wood burning stove offers warmth and charm on the cooler nights, along with a propane heater. A 100-year-old restored Wedgewood gas stove is great for every kind of cooking. On the deck sits the gas grill for your BBQ pleasure.brbrThis rustic gem is solar powered with DC lighting. There's no cleaning fee because we use campsite rules: leave it better than you found it. There's no laundry service in these parts, place sleeping bags on beds, or bring your own queen sheets. brBristlecone offers guests an authentic, off-grid, wilderness adventure. brbrMany come to hike Mt. Sherman with an elevation of 14,035 ft. We are a 10 minute drive to the base of the trail. Because there are private lands between our cabin and the trailhead, you will need to make the drive instead of walking. All outdoor fires are prohibited by county ordinance. We provide a lovely propane fireplace as an alternative. Our land connects with the National Forest. Wildlife preservation is our priority, please keep a far distance from moose, elk, mountain lion, beaver, big horn sheep, bobcat, coyote, bear, and badgers.brbrLocated at the end of a private road on 40 acres this is a unique opportunity for complete seclusion.
