The driveway is plowed in the winter and the roadways are maintained by the county, but 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED from November through May due to the frequent snow storms in this area.br brPark County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great Base Camp! If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. The location is perfect for skiing and boarding in Breckenridge, ATV-ing, hiking, or just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful solitude. The great room and kitchen were just renovated in early 2023!brbrThe home has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a Queen Bed with a set of bunk beds.. There is a bath with a shower/tub combo. The bath also has a washer and a dryer. There are two family rooms. The upstairs has two comfortable sofas and a television with satellite programming as well as a DVD player, so bring along your favorite movies. The main floor has a cozy wood stove that adds to the charm of the home and seating area to relax and chat. The floor to ceiling windows give you a fantastic view of the mountains.. The kitchen is well equipped with all dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. You will have everything you need. There is a dining table for 6 and extra room at the counter if needed.brbrThe home has a large deck on the back of the house with great views. In the summer and fall months, there is a picnic area with table and lounging chairs nestled in the aspens. As a bonus, there is a shed that can be used for guest storage (e.g. skis, etc.)brbrBreckenridge is only 25 miles from the home.
