    This house was incredible! We arrived in the evening at sunset. The views were epic. The house itself was super clean and had everything we needed. The space was even nicer than the pics. Even though we were off the grid, the Star link super fast internet made it easy to work. The host was gracious, and responsive. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

    We booked this home as we planned on fishing a lot nearby Antero Reservoir & Fairplay Beach and everything about our stay was phenomenal!Communication w/ Guest Contact/Owner: Super speedy, kind, and hospitable. Directions to the home was provided and as the home is in fact off-the-grid, it made finding the property so seamless. All information about the home such as internet, how to operate appliances, etc was provided The location: It’s entirely remote and gives you the best opportunity to unplug and reconnect with your love onesThe views: The.best.views.ever. Every window was a stunning hill or vista or Mountain View. Truly amazing and jaw-droppingThe home: It literally has everything we needed for our stay at more. We cook a lot and whether we grilled or prepared food, all equipment and appliances were thereComfort & Cleanliness: All beds, towels, sheets, couches, outdoor furniture, were clean and extremely comfortableThis home and experience was amazing for our 4 days stay and we will definitely keep this home in mind again!

    was getting tired of weekend warrioring it on I-70 with everyone else. I finally decided to take advantage of the opportunity to use our friends' home in Park County as a base of operation to access great skiing without sitting in horrendous traffic. It was a pleasant feeling to have a relaxful commute to the mountain by driving over Hoosier Pass and getting to Breck in an hour and a half, which included a stop in Fairplay each day for some hot coffee and a breakfast sandwich to enjoy during the drive. While it was a busy holiday weekend, the madness was mitigated by having a fantastic place to stay within striking distance and without blowing your budget or having to travel to and from Denver. Take advantage if you can! You won't regret it.

    My wife and I decided we needed a change of pace by trying our hand at remote working from a different location away from Denver with our dogs. Our good friends, the Miskells, offered use of their off-grid home for a week as an option. We jumped at the chance after seeing some pictures of the house and the stunning vistas taken from it. It was only an hour and a half drive from Denver on scenic 285, and we were not disappointed. The views are incredible and the property is ideal for remote work and walking our fur babies. Their Starlink setup provided excellent internet service, including conducting simultaneous virtual meetings without delay or interruption. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property and the surrounding area. We highly recommend renting their home if you are looking for a great place to getaway without a long drive or plane ride. Enjoy great scenery and an opportunity to recharge in a safe and secure home while still being connected and productive.
