West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers.brbrColorado Traction Law:brFrom September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. Walk or bike to the trail from our condo and continue on the Sawmill route to connect to more trails. You can also mountain bike from the condo to additional trailheads and onto miles of surrounding trails, including a route up to the top of Peak 8 and down to Copper Mountain. brbrFor downhill biking, high altitude hiking, scenic rides, alpine slides and more at the Epic Discovery, you can bike or bus over to the gondola which connects to ski lifts to take you up the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Right next to the lift is Charter Sports, where you can rent gear and store it for free overnight. Even grab lift tickets at the Blue Sky ticket office if you didn’t get them in advance. brbrThen ski down the Four O’Clock run and walk across the street back to the condo. For even more slopes, hop on the Free Ride bus to reach lifts or the gondola for Peak areas 7, 8, 9—no car needed! brbrAfter a day of adventures, walk to Main Street just a couple of blocks away for dining, cafés, bars, and shopping. brbrFamilies with kids will love having Mountain Top Explorium, a hands-on play museum, within walking distance, plus a great sledding hill at Carter Park just a short drive away. We provide hot tub towels. brbrCLOSURE NOTE: The Upper Village Pool and Hot Tub is typically closed during shoulder seasons. (Usually this is from mid-April to Memorial Day, and again between Labor Day and the opening of the ski resort, often mid-November.) For Spring 2026, the pool closes April 18th and re-opens May 22nd.brbrParkingbrOne parking spot is available in the underground garage or directly outside the condo. The garage has a 6' 8 height limit. There’s an elevator and stair access and a shared bell cart for bringing up luggage. There are paid offsite parking options for additional cars.brbrOTHER THINGS TO NOTEbrbrWe want every guest to have a seamless, 5-star stay, so please review the details below before booking.brbrCheck-in/check-out brCheck in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. We are often unable to accommodate different times, especially during our busy seasons. We also are unable to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. brbrA/CbrWe don’t have air conditioning, but most mountain properties up here don’t have it due to the alpine climate and mild summers. We also provide box fans for your comfort.brbrLift and ski run statusbrAccess to terrain, lifts, and ski-in trails depends on mountain conditions and may change at any time. The Snowflake Lift typically opens in November but please check trail and lift status on the My Epic app or Breckenridge {dot} com to confirm before your stay. If Snowflake Lift is not open, you can take the Breck Free Ride bus to the gondola or Peak 9 base area. The Free Ride stops are right outside our condo complex.brbrThe lower 4 O’Clock run for ski-in access may open later and close earlier than the lift, sometimes without notice. If it’s closed, ski to a base area and use the Free Ride bus to the “Sundowner” stop directly in front of the condo, or “Pine Ridge” stop across the street. brbrWeather brWe are unable to issue refunds after the cancellation policy window has passed so you might want to consider travel insurance in case you’re unable to reach the condo due to unforeseen or inclement weather. brbrAgebrGuests must be at least 21 years old or accompanied by a parent.brbrNO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE CONDO, ON THE BALCONY OR ON THE CONDO PREMISES (HOA RULES). brbrSorry no pets. brbrNo parties or events.
