For added enjoyment you may bring your favorite camp chairs or hammock setup. I am called The Betty Trail House. I was built in the late 1800's and am named after my first location, which was 5 miles away near the Betty Place Trailhead. This trail was named after my owner. I sheltered my family there until around 1940, when I was moved to my current location. I also increased in size with a new kitchen and bedroom. I was built with wide plank boards, and I sit on strong wormy chestnut beams. My current owners have raised my ceilings in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, which shows off my wide plank boards. They also made me warmer and safer by adding insulation and new wiring (I feel energized now). I have the character of an old home with upgraded modern conveniences, such as central heat and air, a dish washer, and a wonderful bathroom. I also have a hot tub on a big private back patio and a large yard. I am located 2.5 miles from Hot Springs NC.
