Unbelievable 41 mile views from atop this mountain retreat! Totally private!

The cabin was amazing. The views from the cabin were insane, being able to see mountains all over and being immersed in the woods was perfect. Both of the cabins were clean and had everything we needed (Wi-Fi, kitchen tools, etc.). Kids had a blast exploring the woods surrounding the property. We will definitely be back to stay here in the future!

The cabin was comfortable and easy to find. The room adjacent to the cabin had an extra charge that initially we did not know about. Some of our friends got sick, could not come, so we did not have to pay, but make sure you ask. The cabin is in a very private area, the kitchen is well equipped, but the outdoor grill could be better (we had to improvise to make it work). Communication with the owner was excellent, and the cabin was easy to find on the GPS. WiFi is good, and cell coverage is weak on AT&T.

This property is so charming. If you're looking for the wood cabin experience this is the place. The views are stunning with the mountains out in the distance and a meadow on a hill with deer, wild turkeys and hundreds of butterflies. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We eloped here and it was perfect. The host was great with communication. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and the view was so pretty! Our pictures turned out beautifully.

Beautiful views

My fiancé and I eloped and had our wedding at the Heavens. We stayed for 5 days and didn’t want to leave. The property is absolutely breathtaking. I can’t wait to get our photos back! The cabins are beautiful and very well maintained. We cooked every meal and they had everything in the kitchen we needed. The cabins were clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and blankets. We built fires at night in the fire pit. My fiancé has always wanted to take me to Max Patch and it just so happened to be very close. Probably the most amazing view I’ve ever seen hiking. Highly recommend!!

This location was perfect for the hiking trips we had planned. The property was well laid out for our needs and provided us to wind down to its amazing view after long days in trail. Accessing the property from the road was easy, and driving the Rattler to get to the house was an experience in its own right. The lock boxes were straight forward and the included carabiner on the key was great for securing the key to my person while hiking. The house's location was exactly what he wanted. It's remote enough for complete privacy, yet, a local store for essentials is minutes away. And if you're looking for a larger area for groceries/restaurants, Lake Junaluska isn't far. We had an amazing trip and hope to return to this property in the future as we continue our exploration of the AT and the surrounding area on the NC mountains. It is a slice of heaven on earth.

This cabin was absolutely amazing and we will be booking again in the future. Stephanie was an awesome host and constantly checked in to see if we needed anything and always there to answer questions promptly. The property was beautiful and the house was clean and organized. Great place to book!
