The owners have family ties to the area and have recently renovated the home with plush functionalism to ensure their family and guests are pampered and comfortable while visiting all that southwest Montana has to offer.brbrEnjoy stunning views of the Gallatin and Absaroka Mountain Ranges and the majestic Yellowstone River from the wrap around deck or through the large picture windows from the main living and kitchen areas as well as the master bedroom upstairs. Handpicked original western artwork, bronze statues, large Indian style area rugs and original Yellowstone Park signs bridge the modern rustic décor to the home’s chic layout. brbrJust inside the front door is an entry way with a wooden console table, river rock coat hangers and large bench for easy removal and storage of outdoor gear. The main level boasts one bedroom, a full bathroom, laundry room with a new stack washer and dryer, kitchen, living and dining area. The bedroom has a queen bed and a 43” smart TV. The kitchen has all new stainless-steel appliances, granite counter tops, a wet island with an undermount sink and granite overhang with four bar stools plus a bonus pantry area with a coffee bar. Beyond the spacious kitchen is a full bathroom with a double glass shower, stylish double vanity with sit on top custom-made ceramic sink bowls and a heated tile floor. brbrVaulted ceilings provide ample light and the reclaimed wood wrapped beams lend elegance to the open concept living and dining area. A 65” smart TV is cleverly mounted above the picture windows for river and mountain views but is easy to pull down to a more comfortable eye level for watching the news, sports, and movies after a long day adventuring outside. The wooden dining room table comfortably seats 8 guests. brbrUp the colonial wooden staircase is a small landing which leads to one queen and one king, master bedroom, each with a 43” smart TV. The southern facing master has large picture window views of the Yellowstone River and a wooden desk for those working remotely with a printer to boot. Both bedrooms share a beautiful jack and jill bathroom with a glass shower, reclaimed wooden walls, a double sink vanity complete with a heated tile floor.brbrBoth floors are heated and cooled with multiple mini splits strategically installed throughout the house. The house is also protected with a Ring™ security system so guests can set a house alarm when leaving for the day if they desire. It has two bedrooms with queen beds, one full bathroom, a kitchen with cooking utensils, dining room, and a living room with comfy couches around a gas fireplace with a TV above in a secret cabinet. The house comfortably accommodates four people, and is perfect for two couples traveling together.brbrTucked right up against the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness Jardine abounds with hiking, fishing, horseback riding (through local outfitters) in the Summer, cross-country and backcountry skiing and snowshoeing in the Winter, and endless year-round wildlife watching and outdoor exploring. There are no services in Jardine (ie: fuel, grocery stores, restaurants, etc) so remember to top up your fuel tank, go out to eat, and grab some groceries and those last couple of essentials at the Gardiner Market before heading up the road to Jardine. brbrOnly Verizon phones work in Jardine. We do have WiFi! There is no TV/cable/satellite service, but for rainy days we do have a TV screen with online streaming capabilities and a DVD/Blu-ray player with a handful of movies available to watch, as well as games, books and puzzles to enjoy by our cozy fireplace.brbrSummer 2025 Update. Park County is short staffed and having a budget crisis. Because of this, they are not able to maintain the Jardine Road to the normal condition we have become accustomed to. There are extra potholes on the Jardine road. A 2WD can still make the drive, but expect it to be a little bumpier and take a little longer than usual. We're still only about a 15-20 minute drive away from Gardiner, and the views are amazing, as always. Please contact your host, Zondra, directly for the most up to date road report. Wildlife is common in the area and neighborhood, so don't be surprised if you see elk, bison, deer, a fox, or bighorn sheep on or near the property. brbrThe house has a 4 zone mini split AC/heat pump system to help keep a comfortable indoor temperature year round. The living room and each bedroom have their own dedicated AC/Heat pump wall mounted mini split unit. This system allows guests to individually set their desired bedroom and living room temperatures. Relax and sleep in comfort all year long! On those extra cold winter nights, there is a kitchen heater, along with baseboard heaters in the living room and bedrooms to provide extra warmth if needed.brbrLuxury vinyl plank flooring installed throughout the main level of the house. It is well equipped with dishes, cooking pots and utensils, blender, mixer, coffee pot, toaster, and crock pot. The kitchen, dining room and living room are beautiful hardwood floors and lead directly onto the deck with two sliding glass doors. There is plenty of room and seating for twelve. It is a perfect layout to enjoy the gathering of several families or friends. There is a smart TV in the main room with wireless internet access. There is a bath with a tall, tiled shower servicing the main floor. There is a loft with two queen mattresses over the deck with a ladder type access from the living room to the loft. This is a perfect, fun space for kids and boasts a spectacular view of the river. It is often difficult to get kids to leave the loft. They LOVE it. Added bonus of the loft is the wonderful night breeze and smell and sound of the Yellowstone River. br brThe other three bedrooms are located downstairs. On the main level there is a large master bedroom with king size bed, door to the covered deck overlooking the river, wall mount smart TV, and a private bath with shower. A second bedroom nearby on the main level has twin bunk beds. The bunk room adjoins a bath with a stall shower. On the lower, walk-out level of the home there are two additional roomy bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, river views and their own door out to the covered patio. One of these bedrooms has a small vanity and sink in the room as well. There are 3 full-sized bathrooms in this home. Two are located on the main level (one is en suite with the master bedroom and the other adjoins the bedroom with the bunk beds and is also accessible from the hallway) and the third bathroom is located on the lower level in the hallway and serves the two lower level bedrooms. brbrKitchen: The fully-stocked open kitchen has everything you will need including updated appliances, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, and a large pantry for your groceries. After a day spent exploring Yellowstone Park, you can kick off your hiking boots and gather around the island and recount your adventures while dinner is underway. If the cool evening is too much to resist, take the cooking out to the deck and soak in the river vibes as you cook on the gas grill. There’s also a nice collection of books and kids’ movies. brbrLaundry room: This rental home includes a full-sized washer dryer set with detergent, a full sized extra fridge, iron and ironing board, and utility sink. It is also stocked with a great collection of board games and extra towels for swimming in the river or a trip to Yellowstone Hot Springs.brbrOutdoor Amenities: A huge deck overlooks the river with a private patio below. Both spaces are outfitted with comfortable porch furniture to take in the outstanding views and privacy. The Riverside Lodge sits on the Yellowstone River so the river frontage is a huge draw of this property. There is a wonderful fishing hole just down the path from the house. Depending on the water level, there is a small island to explore and small areas of sand to dig in (usually around July 1 onward). We encourage exploration but also want you to be safe so we are happy to answer your questions and give you guidance about the river access. You can wander down the trail below the high water mark as far as you please. There are many trailheads nearby both within the Park boundaries and on nearby National Forest.brbrLocation: The inspiring views from the property include Electric Peak, Devil's Slide, and of course the rolling Yellowstone River. Riverside Lodge is located just 5 easy miles north of the iconic Roosevelt Arch marking the original entrance to Yellowstone Park. The road to the lodge is gravel but is easy to drive and takes you through meadows at the base of the northern range where it is not uncommon to see antelope, elk, bighorn sheep, coyotes, and sometimes bison in the cooler months. Of course, grizzlies and wolves live in the hills of Yellowstone, too, and can be seen on occasion along this drive as well. It’s incredible country! Across the northern boundary of the property is a neighboring ranch’s irrigated hay field, which attracts herds of elk and deer year-round.brbrOnce at the Riverside Lodge, you continue to experience Yellowstone's magic. From the deck of the lodge on an early summer evening, you can close your eyes and enjoy the sound of cascading water from the Little Trail Creek waterfall across the river, Canada geese calling from their nesting grounds along the river, a variety of birds and owls, and the delightful calls of newborn elk calves talking with their mothers.
