This property is located 1 mile from the entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is minutes from shops and restaurants but located on the edge of town in a quiet neighborhood. brThe master bedroom has a king bed and a smart TV and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room has a brand new couch, that converts to a very comfortable queen memory foam sleeper sofa, and a 48 inch smart TV that is connected to our WiFi and has a Netflix account ready to use. Unfortunately we do not have cable TV. We also have a DVD player and a small selection of DVDs from which to chose. The kitchen has a table that seats 6 and contains brand new stainless-steel appliances including a ceramic stove-top, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all the cooking and dining ware you will need. The house has 2 full bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath tub/shower combo and the downstairs bathroom has a shower. We also have a full size washer and dryer for your use. There is a one car garage to park a small vehicle in OR to store your hunting, fishing, or snowmobiling gear in. Out front is a small deck with a gas grill and a bistro table and two chairs. brIt will be a relaxing place to come home to after a busy day touring Yellowstone. An additional 350 sf studio apartment was completed in 2013. The property is located on the Madison River, known for its majestic beauty and world class fly fishing. The cabin is a gorgeous, 35 minute drive to the entrance of Yellowstone National Park and about an hour to the winter hot spot, Big Sky Ski Resort. With its fabulous location, reclaimed barnwood floors, custom kitchen, 3 flat screen TVs, a Jotul wood-burning stove, and floor to ceiling windows, it is a magical vacation spot. brbrThe primary suite has a queen bed with pillow top mattress, Smart TV, French doors opening to a 5 person Jacuzzi Tub overlooking the river, and a custom built pebble shower with dual shower heads (including a rain head). There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with log bunk beds (twin on top & queen below). Open the windows and let the smell of the mountains and the sound of the river lull you to sleep. The open loft has a cozy seating area, a third TV with DVD player, and game system for the kids (and the kids at heart). Directly on the river, you will find a large fire pit perfect for staying warm and making s'mores while watching the fishermen in your family catch that big brown just feet away.brbrOur cabin is located 30 minutes south of Ennis and 35 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The home is located on a 1/2 acre lot in a small subdivision, just 8 miles from West Yellowstone. Upon first entering, its' open concept kitchen/dining room features 14 foot walls with a double, gas fireplace that separates the great room from the kitchen/dining room. The home is all on one level. Past guests have been in awe of the unique character instilled in the design and the spacious openness and wishing they had planned more vacation time to enjoy the home. The custom finishes throughout are of reclaimed wood and the earth tone colors incorporated in the décor give it a warm nostalgic feel. The views from the large great room windows and the front patio are of the famous 'Lionhead' Mountain. There is air conditioning but is not always needed due to cool summer evenings. A gas firepit (available May 1 - November 1) on the large back patio is a great gathering place at the end of the day for s'mores and stories. The home comes with a single-car garage for your use. Our winter guests are just a quarter mile from groomed snowmobile trails, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the national forest.brbr*Although 4 wheel drive is not required to get to the house, we definitely recommend it for our area from November - April, as road conditions are often snowpacked and icy.
