The cabin is only 2 miles from the park as a crow flies, and just 3 from the nearest trailhead, and one of our favorite hikes. We are about 1 mile from East Glacier Park and its shops, restaurants, Amtrak station, and lodge, the gateway to the gorgeous and quiet Two Medicine region of the park (~25 minutes to the two medicine entrance). Take a 45 minute drive to Saint Mary to check out the east entrance of the renowned Going-To-The-Sun road. Or continue on another 30 minutes to the Many Glacier Hotel. The West entrance is 55 minutes away. Plus, we are only 75 minutes from the Glacier Intl Airport. One has a queen bed and a single, while the Master Bedroom has a queen bed. Adjacent to the Master Bedroom and separated by a curtained doorway, is a small bedroom with another queen bed. Our fourth bedroom is downstairs and has a queen bed. All of the bedrooms have great views that provide a peaceful end to your day and brighten the start of the next one. Upstairs you will find a full bath with laundry facilities while the downstairs has a bathroom with shower and sauna.brbrSit in the cedar and brick living room with your morning coffee and view Lubeck Ridge, Calf Robe Mountain, Firebrand Pass and the occasional deer, moose, coyotes, elk and bear that make the area their home. Expansive south and west facing windows give incredible views that make our part of the state such a special place. A fully equipped kitchen lets you plan meals at home or dine out at one of the local restaurants. Everything down to the salt and pepper shakers is here for you, but if you have a special request, let us know and we'll work on it.brbrThe deck on the west and north sides of the house offers great views and deck chairs are there for your comfort. Two Medicine Lake area provides numerous hiking trails and a tour boat operates on the lake also. Firebrand Pass is just up the road and is a great hike. brbrWe are located three miles west of East Glacier on Highway 2. Close enough to town, but removed enough to let you see sunsets, stars, northern lights and nature at its best just outside the door. This property is located in East Glacier (closest town to Two Medicine Lake just 12 miles away) above Midvale Creek at the edge of town. It features a spectacular view of the mountains, creek and beaver pond, all viewable from large upper and lower decks. It sits on a large private lot with an 8 foot fence that was once used to enclose my father's buffalo! The lot is spacious in both front and back and features the perfect family atmosphere with lots of room for your children to run and play on the lawn.brbrRustic yet beautifully modern, it has a new interior complete with all of the luxuries you need for a comfortable stay. It features a main floor with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. This floor has a TV, all modern kitchen appliances, a bar with 3 stools and lower bar/table with chairs. The bathroom has a large walk in tile shower complete with a bench and rain head shower head. Also on the main floor is a separate bedroom with a separate/private entrance accessible from the lower deck. This sunroom is small yet charming and includes a queen size bed, dresser, full bathroom, and TV. It is not accessible from the main cabin, it has a SEPARATE entrance from the deck. The upstairs in the main cabin has an entertainment center small bathroom with a bathtub and a king size bed.
