The Angler is an old cabin we moved from another property in Eureka and refurbished it, and gave it a new home right on the Tobacco River. It is a private cabin sleeping 2 - we can add a cot for an extra charge. This cabin is private, secluded and off grid. With a cool remodeled interior, comfortable bed with Pendleton blankets, this unit stays cool in the shade next to the river all summer and is a guest favorite. Just an hour from the Flathead, 1 1/2 hours from Glacier Park, and 1 hour 15 from the Kootenai Falls. Experience Montana without the crowds! Our ranch comprises 450 acres of trails and forests and farmland, 1 1/2 miles of river, is adjacent to state forest, and Rails to Trails runs through our property.brbrWhether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come for the recreation, but stay to relax!brbrGlamping = Glamorous Camping. Let us handle the set up, you're here to relax! We have three cabins and three vintage trailers to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River.brbrOn site you'll find a beautiful community kitchen with all the equipment you need, and showers and bathrooms. We have a few bikes & tubes for guest use. We have built a brand new awesome compost toilet (Le Biffy) which is near this unit, as well as our remodeled camper kitchen. Guests are also welcome to use the new and modern Base Camp building.brbrGuests have access to our community kitchen and showers/toilets. Guests also have access to our entire property, 450 acres of trails, forest, pasture and river. We provide a few tubes for river use and bikes for rails to trails as well.brbrYou will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. You can unload 100-200 feet from your cabin, but park in designated parking. Toilets are also 100-200 feet from each cabin or camper.brbrbrLiability Waiver:brYou understand that staying on our rustic property is at your own risk and that swimming, walking, hiking, etc can involve risk. You accept full responsibility for any injury that may arise. Damage caused to the property or to other guests by your party, including pets, is your responsibility. This cabin is an old J. Neils Lumber Company logger bunk house, which would have been used to house loggers when working in our surrounding forests. We have loving restored it, adding modern comforts, including a luxury king bed and linens - but keeping the cool vintage vibe. This is a private cabin which sleeps 2 - we can add a cot for an extra charge, or if your party is larger, we have a vintage tiny trailer, or a tent that we can park next to it for an additional fee. Consider the Jeremiah Johnson Retreat a great place to relax with real Montana rustic charm in this one room cabin located in Eureka, Montana. This cozy retreat hosts a queen bed that sleeps two and a comfy futon that can sleep an additional two guests. Nestled in a serene setting, guests can unwind and relax in this phenomenal space. The cabin has a full kitchen, entertainment center with room for clothes, a wine bar, tv, dvd, microwave, stove, oven, outdoor bbq and a couple of outdoor sitting areas. There is a perfect spot to sit and read under a roof or use it as an old Western photo area! Cook inside or out on the BBQ. There is an outdoor porta potty and an outdoor shower house! This cabin is within minutes of three lakes, a golf course and the concerts at Abeyance Bay or The Bull Thing Rodeo! Trapper’s Saloon and Eatery is minutes away and so is The Old Red Barn for wine, cheese, charcuterie, and gifts!! Have breakfast off the $7 menu for 3 items at Jax’s Cafe or enjoy one of their famous shakes! Water sports and hiking trails within 15 minutes of the cabin as well as wedding venues, The cabin is close to the Canadian border and is reasonable driving distance to Fernie or Big Mountain to ski or the entrance to Glacier National Park is about an hour and half from the cabin The property has mule deer and babies that pass through and if you are looking to see elk that is a possibility as well! A suggestion for longer stays would be to bring bottled water and jugs of water although we do keep this stocked on site as well. You’ll find teas, apple cider, coffee, cream, and sugar, extra towels, bedding, pillows, etc. In the winter since we have to shut the outdoor shower down you can take showers at the gym in town which is about ten minutes away for $10 per person and there is a laundry in town as well for longer stays. If you need the cabin cleaned during a longer stay that is a possibility as well and you can reach out for details!

The turn off to Burma Road is right at the north end of Indian Springs Golf course. Go up Burma Road for 1.9 miles where there is a fork in the road. Stay to the left and continue up Burma Road for 2.2 miles. Turn right onto forest service road that is called Blacktail Trail. Go up a couple of switchbacks and at approximately 4/10’s of a mile you will turn right on to Gould Road. Go up Gould Road for 3/10’s of a mile to the 2nd road that turns right off of Gould Road. This is Caribou Trail, go 2/10’s of a mile to the campground. There will be a brown house on the right side built on the edge of the road continue past this to go through the gate and this is the campground.brbr Located in common campground with community outdoor kitchen and shower facilities.
