We call this apartment our Casual Contemporary, located just one block from downtown Hamilton. With the budget traveler in mind, this stylish basement apartment has a spacious and open floor plan that is comfortable and well appointed. brbrThe kitchen is the heart of this apartment. As the photos show, it has a practical and roomy layout. The smooth concrete countertops incorporate a large bar stool type dining peninsula that can easily seat four people. A microwave oven, toaster, and and blender, along with many other needed cooking items can be found in the kitchen. brbrOur main focus in the renovation was to create an “open and well lit environment and to be able to offer a more budget minded option for travelers. Visitors often do not notice that this apartment has only one existing window, yes only one! Through thoughtful planning however, we have created various lighting options throughout the apartment where guest can easily adjust the lighting for different settings; let it be soft warm lighting for a romantic dinner or something more casual as a natural daylight feel. The west wall even has a faux backlit window which gives the feeling of natural light. Being that this is a basement apartment please be aware that you may occasionally hear some creaking from the floor above you, somewhat typical for a building built in 1895.brbrThis large studio apartment measures over 750 square feet with ten foot ceilings in the main living areas. The living room has a 48 inch T.V. brThere are two large closets for storage, one is at the entrance area and is great for jackets and outdoor gear, the other is located in the bedroom area.brbrThe bedroom setting is semi private, meaning there is no door separating it from other rooms. A queen size bed is fitted with a soft comforter and four pillows. Offering one dedicated bedroom, sofa bed, spacious and comfortable living space, and an open functional kitchen, Range View sits at over 1600 sqft. Built with 2x6 framing and non-toxic spray foam insulation, the structure boasts R-30 in the walls and over R-50 in the ceiling. The structure was built with no-VOC’s both inside and out, which speaks to the underlying theme of healthy environments that pervade the Farm estate. The space offers both forced heat and air conditioning for your comfort, via a mini-split system. Water supplied to the space originates from a well 90’ below the ground. To ensure a clean, healthy drinking / bathing experience, all water is routed through an iron filtration system then finally through an ‘Alive Water’ system to reinvigorate & re-energize the water at all points of use. On the exterior, a concrete seating area is situated on two sides for your viewing pleasure, while offering privacy from the farm entrance to the East. brbrThe Range View Cabin is situated on the Eastern side of the farm which boasts the highest elevation offering sweeping views of the Bitterroot Mountain Range. Special attention was taken to construct windows to the South and West to maximize mountain views season to season. The yard, in its infancy, has been furnished with cedar lattice fencing and specific plantings to offer a more intimate outdoor setting to buffer the site of the adjacent old school building that sits to the West. (Be advised that there is a private business operating within a structure immediately to the West of the cabin. Operating hours are M-F 9-5. Even though close proximity to the cabin, ABC acres has taken every avenue to develop levels of privacy for the traveling guest.) As a guest of the farm, and from the comfort of the outdoor space, you may witness farm staff running pasture irrigation, elk & deer grazing the pastures at dusk, seasonal migrating raptors, and so much more. Conveniently located near downtown Hamilton, The Stock Farm and walking distance to Hamilton High and The Bitterroot Performing Arts Center. This home is great for housing family/friends for reunions, sporting events, group retreats, etc.brbrWhile on a hill, The Fullerton house has one of a kind views of the Bitterroot Valley and neighbors historic Marcus Daly (founder of Hamilton) era properties. Wildlife visits are common, such as the Great Horned Owl nests in the neighboring spruce trees, colorful little birds peak in the windows and deer lounge in the yard.brbrThis is a 3500 square foot three story, five bedroom and two bath home. On the main floor, technically the 2nd floor is the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom with a shower, a master bedroom with a king and a bedroom with a queen. Third story has two bedrooms. The Blue room is a single built in twin and the Red room has 3 built in twins. Children love the top floor, it's a large space with a bathroom/shower/tub. The daylight basement has a king bedroom with seating area and a TV. There is a separate kitchenette with coffee maker and microwave. This is a perfect place for a couple who needs more privacy or the loud snoring uncle. Additional sleeping options: a queen air mattress and 2 single foldable beds are available. A basketball hoop and a ping pong table in the carport can entertain the active guests. Please be accurate with guest count when booking.
