WIFI access, washer & dryer, a complete fully-stocked kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, range, regular coffeemaker, coffee and teas, spices and sauces, an outdoor gas grill and a wonderful covered patio for relaxing after a day of hiking, horseback riding or rafting on the Yellowstone River. Restaurants and local shopping are within ten minutes driving distance and Chico Hot Springs Spa & fine restaurant are a half hour away. Or just enjoy a BBQ on the patio, a marshmallow roast at the shared fire pit or a relaxing stroll down our rural (gravel) road, away from the noises of the city. brbrThis Yellowstone cabin is a delightful place from which to navigate your Yellowstone National Park vacation, and you can even walk to the park directly from our driveway, only (approx) 1500 feet away. The Roosevelt Arch (North Entrance is 4.5 miles from the cabin). Access to the cabin is via a gravel road, maintained by Yellowstone National Park & Park County. This road can be rough at times and recommend adjusting driving speed to accommodate road condition. brbrJust under 48 miles to Livingston, and 1 1/2 hours from Bozeman Airport, the location is convenient yet very private, despite the other cabins on the property. The Roosevelt Arch which is the northern entrance to Yellowstone can be seen from the Master Bedroom and front deck. brbrThe house itself consists of a Great Room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a utility room. The great room has walnut floors, rock fireplace, huge windows for beautiful views, vaulted ceiling, 2 reclining leather sofas and leather chair. The vaulted ceiling and walnut floors continue through to the kitchen with its granite counter tops, farmhouse sink, top of the line appliances, 2 full ovens, lots of cabinet space and a separate pantry.brbrThere are two bedrooms on the upper level. The first bedroom has 1 full bed, the second bedroom has a king-size bed and attached bathroom with glass enclosed, tiled shower. There is an additional full bathroom on the upper level. Both bathrooms have granite counter-tops. brbrThere are two bedrooms on the lower level. One bedroom has a queen sized log frame bed, the other has a king-size bed with an attached bathroom. There is an additional bathroom downstairs, also a separate utility room with washer and dryer.brbrSmart televisions with DVD players are in every bedroom with an additional TV in the Great Room. A large deck extends across the front of the house on the upper level. You may access the deck from the over-sized glass sliding door and/or single door in the great room or from the glass door of the master bedroom. There are also outside stairs leading from the lower level to the deck. The house has both central heat AND air which is very much appreciated in the summer! Separate thermostats control the upper and lower level. The house is equipped with a Renai system which provides all of the hot water one needs.brbrBecause the house sits on a hillside, you have privacy but are still within walking distance to the town of Gardiner with its restaurants, shopping, grocery store and post office. The walk to the Roosevelt Arch is approximately 1 mile from the house.

The North Gate House is a beautiful, vacation home completed in 2008. The house has approximately 2,160 square feet of space on three levels.brbrThere are many special touches throughout the house from the soaring 21 foot high ceiling of the great room to the solid oak, wide plank flooring, to the custom glass paneled deck. From the wall of windows in the comfort of the great room or outside from the deck, you will have unobstructed views into Yellowstone where herds of elk and bison can often be seen grazing. Big horn sheep are often viewed walking the ridge behind the house.brbrThe house includes a fully equipped kitchen with a large capacity dishwasher, above the range microwave and beautiful hickory cabinets. There is central heat and air with individual controls for each floor (a must for high desert summers where temperatures can reach the 90's at times), HD satellite televisions, high speed internet access, high efficiency washer and dryer, a Renai hot water system (you'll never run out of hot water)and a bathroom on each level. brbrThe lower level bedroom consists of two twin/single beds, an HD television, blu-ray player. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed, HD television and blu-ray player, while the upper level bedroom consists of a king size bed with a High Definition TV system and blu-ray player. brbrSituated in the quaint town of Gardiner, you will be able to find anything you need. There are many cafes, restaurants and numerous shops, a grocery store, post office and bank. There are fishing guides, rafting companies and outfitters that offer horseback riding both in and outside of the park. brbrThe fishing in the area is wonderful. There are two Blue Ribbon streams within a mile of the house, the Yellowstone which is 3 blocks away and the Gardiner River approximately 1 mile. brbrIn the winter there are many available activities such as enjoying the Hot Springs at Yellowstone Hot Springs Resort, snowshoeing in Yellowstone and the surrounding area or cross country skiing. There is snowmobiling with rentals available in and out of the park, down hill skiing at Bridger Bowl (94 miles away) or Big Sky (175 miles) and our favorite - wildlife viewing in the Lamar Valley where you will likely see herds of bison, elk and possibly some of the Yellowstone wolves. brbrThe National Geographic Society used the Northgate House in 2014 while working on a 2015 Yellowstone film documentary. They lived at the Northgate house while making the film and used the garage for their film editing. They also set up a blind in the yard to film some of the local wildlife. Those that have rented the Northgate House will recognize some of the scenes in the National Geographic film.

It has a big, open kitchen with center island, (great for gatherings), gas fireplace and central air and heating. The lodge is available year round and is handicap accessible and perfect for large groups. We handle all of our bookings-no property manager. We look forward to hearing from you !brbrWe are located on the Yellowstone River, 10 miles north of Gardiner, MT- the oldest entrance to Yellowstone Park. This is a beatuiful and convenient location for visiting Yellowstone Park and the surrounding area. There are many other activites to do and see in the area such as horseback riding, hiking, fishing, river rafting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hunting. All of these activites are available in the nearby upper Yellowstone Valley. brbrThis area is a beautiful place to visit any time of year. Winters in the Gardiner are usually pretty mild. The road through the northern part of Yellowstone to Cooke City is open year round. The most scenic part of the Park offers unlimited wildlife viewing, particularly of elk, bison and the famous Yellowstone wolves. There is snowmobiling and cross country skiing in the mountains above Gardiner, Cooke City and in the Park. Downhilll skiing is also available nearby at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. brbrWhile we do have a no refund policy, we do always try to work with our guests. We will give you a refund If we know far enough in advance and are able to rebook your dates. We will also give you a refund If Yellowstone Park is closed for any reason during your stay with us. We highly recommend that you buy trip insurance as a precaution for the possibility of a natural disaster, such as the unprecedented flooding we had this year. We are also willing to transfer your deposit for another date within the next year, if you need to cancel. The reason we have this policy is to discourage cancelations a week or 2 before their stay. Located in a quiet residential area of Gardiner, you will be able to relax and get away from it all. It is the ground floor of a shared facility with the property owner. There is one flight of stairs from the parking area to the apartment entrance. This rental is also an Audubon birder’s paradise, with the opportunity to see and photograph western birds right out your window. Feeders and a water feature offer chances to see a variety of species including towhees, chickadees, tanagers, siskins, warblers, and others during the spring season. The spectacular views look out on Gallatin National Forest as well as Electric Peak in Yellowstone Park. Wildlife such as mule deer and elk are also seen wandering this neighborhood, especially in the wintertime. Incredible fly fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout is available on the beautiful Yellowstone River located less than a mile away. Cross country skiing and hiking trails are easily accessed either in nearby Gallatin National Forest or Yellowstone Park. brbrThis apartment has two bedrooms and one bath. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. An queen sofa bed can also be used for additional sleeping arrangements. The living room is furnished with a satellite TV and DVD player for those rainy days. There are also board games for the whole family. The kitchen is fully furnished with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. A barbecue grill is also available for grilling out. A spacious and beautifully landscaped yard around the apartment will invite you to sit outside. This apartment is also equipped with satellite wifi internet to keep you connected while on vacation. A washer and dryer are also available in this rental. brbrThe town of Gardiner has all the amenities you need such as a grocery store, restaurants, food trucks, fishing guides, rafting companies, horseback riding, art galleries, gift shops, gas stations, post office etc., all within walking distance.
