Yellowstone Park Riverfront Cabin 1. Year-round rental available for premium recreational activities. Just a few steps from world-class blue-ribbon trout fishing and hiking in the National Forest. Walk, hike, or ride horseback through the National Forest entry. Only a casual walk of 1100+/- feet to boundary of Yellowstone Park. Approximately a four-and-a-half mile drive through the Park to the Roosevelt Arch entry at Gardiner (the North Gate). NOTE PLEASE: Calendar for this cabin #69590 has few openings available, however, if the open dates do not meet your preferred dates, I listed another near identical cabin on VRBO.com #935195
Note: As I have reservations for 9 months to a year in advance and many return guests who reserve early, be sure to contact owner at your earliest convenience to secure your preferred dates.
ALSO CHECK OUT #935195 (similar cabin by same owner) for available dates.
Here is your unique opportunity to enjoy Mammoth's geological wonders and the vast variety of wildlife and activities of Yellowstone National Park as well as numerous educational possibilities.
The cabin is modern, comfortable, convenient, and in a very private setting (not on the highway) with spectacular scenic views of the Park, wildlife, and Electric Peak. It is just like being in the Park without being in the crowds. Its location is near the campfire area on the banks of the Yellowstone River.
Cabin 1 has two master suites (each with luxury queen beds and bath), flat-screen TV's, fully equipped kitchen, covered private patio, WiFi, washer/dryer.
The cabin is located 47+/- miles to Livingston, 70+/-miles to Bozeman. There is a county airport in Gardiner and Bozeman’s Yellowstone International Airport is 75+/- miles.
Note: Your early reservation, prior to January 1, will ensure the lowest peak-season rate.
Depending upon desired dates, it can be possible to reserve independently owned cabins for additional guests if you are planning a larger get-together. Without exception, I have been told my cabin is superior to my guests expectations.
Don't forget that the Gardiner/North Gate entrance to Yellowstone Park, Mammoth, the Lamar Valley, and Cooke City, is open year-around. Winter in Yellowstone is awesome!
Note: Video link shows interior of Cabin 1. Cabin 8 location on the banks of the Yellowstone is the same and the amenities are nearly identical.

Stayed in this property for 4 nights in October with our 2 granddaughters. The set up was perfect for us with each room having it's own full bath and shower and 2 queen beds. Yellowstone was very accessible in took just a few minutes to get there. We visited the nearby Hot Springs at Bonnie's recommendation and ended up going back for a second visit. Waking up to the mountain views, elk in the immediate yard, the river rushing by right behind the cabin all just made the experience perfect. My only recommendations would be to have some cozy blankets for tv watching and reading as it is quite cold outside. We also could have used another spatula and a cutting board. The cabin really had every single thing we could have wanted those would just be extras. Thank you Bonnie for the wonderful experience!!
This property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed listening to the Yellowstone River from the patio and saw kayakers several times. Very relaxing. It was 4 miles from the north entrance of Yellowstone and Gardiner. We ate dinner in Gardiner a couple times but mostly cooked at the cabin. It was very well supplied with everything we needed. We had elk either in the yard or close by all the time. We hope to be back and will certainly recommend this to family & friends.
The views were amazing. Bonnie thought of everything you might need. Enjoyed watching Elk walk by every morning. We were sad to leave.
We had an amazing trip to Yellowstone! The Cabin had everything we needed and was decorated so cute. The owner was very helpful and offered lots of options for us to enjoy our adventures. Will be returning ?
Place was great
Small town 10 min away, no quality food but one can survive on burgers and pizza and there is a small Mexican joint. But for those who want to cook there is a grocery with pretty much everything one needs. For more options there is a city about 50 min. away.
Great location and clean large cabins with everything right on the river
The cabin's location was the perfect distance away from town and away from the crowds, and the north rim of Yellowstone. Our family enjoyed listening to the river at night after a long day of exploring in Yellowstone. The beds were so comfrontable and perfect. I highly recommend this place!
Whether you are looking for a rest after a day of exploring or juat sitting and enjoying the sights and sounds of the river lazing around, this gem is a winner. Right on the Yellowstone River and only about 5 miles from North entrance to Yellowstone, it offers a very comfortable, beautiful and peaceful retreat. Bonnie (our host) is amazing. She was always available to answer questions or to offer suggestions. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.
Our cabin (#1) was located on the Yellowstone River and had spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin has two separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The kitchen/dining area and living room faces the River. It was very clean and had all that we needed for our four night stay.
Close to Yellowstone National Monument Park. Bonnie Lynn was just a wonderful host. The cabin had everything we needed!! Loved seeing all the wildlife! Hope to return some day!!
This little cabin has everything you could ever wish for. The kitchen is exceptional, new pots and pans, a new stove, a dishwasher, a fridge with an ice maker, (unheard of in a rental). The 4 queen size beds were all extremely comfortable. There are two bathrooms, one in each bedroom. Bedroom number 2 has a walk-in shower. The owner is extremely responsive and answers immediately. While we were there we couldn’t figure out the smart tv, Bonnie came over immediately and showed us how the tv worked. I have stayed in two others cabins in this complex, and this one is the BEST! The river in front, all the wildlife is an added bonus. It is a relief to come to a quiet peaceful setting after fighting crowds all day in Yellowstone. You do need to know that it is a gravel road getting to the cabin and you have to haul your own garbage. I hate to review places I love because when I want to go back they are already booked. Bonnie, the owner is the best. Thankyou for sharing your hidden treasure.
