We have stayed at this property a few times now. Very clean and comfortable. Great location to the north gate of Yellowstone. Plenty of room for everyone

Beautiful River-side location convenient to YNP. Accommodated all 12 of us very comfortably; plenty of beds and the five bedrooms/three baths were perfect for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen plus the BBQ grill. We really enjoyed the back deck overlooking the river plus lots of nice lawn space for games. Overall, wonderful!

The house could use a deep clean. The bottom cupboards were dirty. Dead bugs on the window sills. Cob webs between the logs on the walls. They need to invest in new windows with screens. The A/c wasn’t working very well but unable to open windows due to no screens

We loved every minute in your beautiful cabin!! And the grounds…. Played wiffle ball a lot! Perfect place for our family of 9 and much more room for many more if we had needed it!!A fun vacation and we all loved your cabin!Linda Stolzenburg

We had the best time at this property. The house is spacious and welcoming. Free Wi-Fi. My extended family really enjoyed their stay. As I travelled the road to Gardiner and back, there is no better place to stay. The beds were all very comfortable. I cannot recommend this property enough.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Excellent for family reunion! Well equipped kitchen; nice out door deck. Easy access to Yellowstone.

Wonderful place to stay.

the positives - a great location only 10 miles from the Northgate of Yellowstone. -The view was spectacular. We even got professional Yellowstone Family Photography to come out and take our family pictures with that backdrop. -The owners have made some improvements, the kitchen appliances , dish and cookware are good -they have redone the floors on the bottom hallway and the whole main floor and they look great. -The rooms were good enough beds for everyone. Need for improvement- -New mattresses as current ones have lost their alignment and firmness -unreliable internet -electrical issues in the kitchen - track lights flicker off and on. -air conditioner works well but it leaks on bottom floor

Everything about this property was amazing! It was more than sufficient for 8 adults & 5 children! The view of the river was awesome & we saw wild life on the hills every day. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. It was close to town & sightseeing in Yellowstone & yet far enough away to enjoy privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Our group of 9 really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room to stretch out. The river location and pavillion on the property gave us the chance to wind down after long days in the park. Dru is an excellent host and so pleasant to talk to. Gardiner is a great little town, stop by Yellowstone Perk for great coffee and vibes. We would highly recommend Dru and the Yellowstone River Retreat. ¹¹

We loved staying at Dru and John's cabin. It was very spacious and clean. The cabin had 3 floors but 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, the kitchen, living area, and deck overlooking the river are all on the main level making it perfect for our elderly parents with limited mobility. The drive to YS North Entrance is very pretty and takes about 10 - 15 minutes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Yellowstone Lodge was spacious, beautiful, and the perfect place for our family reunion/vacation. It’s very close to Yellowstone, and a reasonable drive to the Tetons. The location is beautiful on the river, and everybody had a lovely time! The lodge has everything you need, and the owner is helpful, kind, and responsive. Thanks for everything, and maybe our travels will lead us back someday.
