There are views for days. Our home is 8 minutes to the heart of downtown, 6 minutes to great restaurants and breweries, and just over 10 minutes to the National Park entrance. We love our location because we can take quiet backroads to the National Park and avoid crowds and traffic, plus we can quickly get to off-the-beaten-path hiking areas like the trail network on Forest Road 119, Homer Rouse, and Lily Mountain. There is a multi-use path accessible a block away for safe walks with the family.brbrThe summer traffic in Estes Park can be a mess, particularly in the downtown area. We love being away from the hustle and bustle in our neighborhood. From our home you can get to all the major attractions of Estes Park quickly, on backroads that are rarely traveled during the high tourism season. There is a great free shuttle system in Estes that will take you pretty much anywhere, from the Park Entrance to various restaurants and breweries, and even to the YMCA -- its closest stop is a few miles away, near the Golf Course. It runs from early July to mid-September. Plan to bring a car for your vacation -- our home has parking for three vehicles.brbrNEIGHBORS & NOISEbrbrIt is super important for us to maintain a peaceful environment for our neighbors. We request that guests refrain from hosting parties or playing loud music that may disrupt their tranquility. To ensure this, we use Minut Noise Monitors that detect sound levels and alert us of any disturbances.brbrSMOKING AND FIRESbrbrTo minimize the risk of fire, smoking is prohibited on the premises. Outdoor wood fire pits are also illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes.brbrAIR CONDITIONERbrbrOur property does not feature air conditioning, but the refreshing mountain breeze that flows from the peaks cools down the place quickly in the evenings when the windows are open.brbrBEARSbrbrTo ensure guest safety, we urge visitors not to leave any food items in their cars as bears frequent the area and may attempt to break in.brbrMINUTbrbrTo maintain guest safety and protect the property, we utilize Minut noise monitors that track decibel levels, temperature, and humidity. These devices are not recording audio and are located on the kitchen ceiling to detect any party gatherings and prevent noise complaints from neighbors.brbr* After booking, guests may be asked to review and accept a standard rental agreement covering house rules, safety disclosures, liability, and damage responsibility.
