Elk Haven is walking distance to downtown Estes Park, near The Stanley Hotel, nestled in the trees in a quiet neighborhood. The condo offers two floors of comfortable living space.

The main floor open living space includes a living area with plenty of comfortable seating to settle in near the fireplace, and enjoy a movie. The sofa is a queen sleeper sofa.

The kitchen has everything you need to create great shared meals while chatting with friends and family at the counter top bar, with seating for four. You can enjoy meals at the kitchen bar, or at the cozy table perfect also for playing games together. There is also a powder room and access to the garage off of this living area.

The upper floor features three bedrooms, two full baths. The first upstairs bedroom has a Queen bed, and the second bedroom has a full/double bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with bath tub shower combo located in the upstairs hallway. The third bedroom is a master bedroom with a brand new king bed with adjustable position mattress with remote, and an attached private bathroom with a jetted shower tub combo.

Enjoy access to the private deck from the master bedroom. The master bathroom also has a full size washer and dryer to make doing laundry more convenient. One of the guest bedrooms, and the master bedroom, each have a flat screen TV. Enjoy your mountain vacation and create great memories at Elk Haven!

Elk Haven is a 10 min walk to the Historic Stanley Hotel and Safeway Grocery Store. It’s 1.3 miles to downtown Estes Park and 3.4 miles to the Beaver Meadows Entrance at Rocky Mountain National Park.

Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.

Please do not mail or ship anything to this home.

Parking for 2 cars in garage.

No large vehicles, i.e. RVs, trailers.

    The location was exactly what we desired. Park at the visitor’s center right down the hill and great, local shopping is just a short walk away. The Stanley Hotel is also super close, though they wanted 10.00 for parking when all I wanted was to go to the gift shop for some chocolate, so that seemed a bit exorbitant. The three bedrooms are all located upstairs and we enjoyed the space. The small balcony overlooks the neighborhood as opposed to the beautiful backside of the property but even that was pleasant. The kitchen met all of our needs.

    Great location and the property had everything we needed. No air conditioning but there are fans, and you can open the windows at night to make it cooler. Owner was responsive to messages and property was clean and organized. Thanks for a great stay!

    We loved the location for its easy access to RMNP and Estes Park downtown. Views of the mountains are incredible from the owners suite and we loved seeing the daily wildlife around the property.Only suggestion would be for new chairs on the balcony!

    As others have noted the decor,paint and furniture are dated and don’t reflect the mountain setting. The steep stairs to bedrooms were difficult to use due to being carpeted reducing the size of the step. No bedside lamp or nightstand in one bedroom, broken shades and no views for two bedrooms and only one view downstairs. Bathrooms and kitchen functioned. TV confusing with no instructions. Plus side was the location to downtown and the Stanley Hotel. The unit was clean, the washer dryer worked and the enclosed garage was nice with access to the kitchen.

    Main floor. We missed having windowa and doors that didn't open so we couldnt enjoy the mountain breezes and smells. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Was unfortunate that the ice maker in the freezer didn't work. A floor lamp by the couch would have been nice. Bedrooms wwre nice.
