You can see whales passing by sometime if you are lucky. We have two kayaks for you to enjoy your stay. The private dock also be perfect place for fishing. Only 15 minutes drive to Langford and 25 minutes to Victoria downtown. Close to millstream village. Costco, Homedepot, staples, save on food all nearby. There is a path from parking walk down to the cottage. You need be careful walking up and down some area are steep.brbrAccessibility Note:** Please be aware that the walking path from the parking area to the cottage includes steep sections. We recommend packing light, as the terrain may be challenging with heavy luggage. The cottage also features a steep staircase leading to the bedroom loft. Guests with mobility concerns should carefully consider whether these conditions are manageable for their needs.

Welcome to our charming cabin. We strive to make this place a home away from home for our guests. Nestled on a 5-acre shared property our cozy home is surrounded by nature, but still near the city. With trails nearby, and some even attached, yet still close to all amenities in Cowichan and Langford, we like to think we have it all here! We are happy to provide guests with all the modern basics you need; plus a hot tub, fire pit, and bbq. We also have baby amenities available upon request.brbrThe spacebrEntering this welcoming home you can park under the covered carport and walk right into the front door where you'll find lovely natural wood finishes, and neutral, bright tones. Downstairs is the laundry closet, and master bedroom- which features a walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom, electric fireplace, and access to the hot tub deck and a lovely propane firepit area. As you continue exploring upstairs you'll find a cozy games corner, a second bathroom and a bedroom. You will also come across an open-concept kitchen, living room, and dining room. Off the kitchen, we have a great covered patio space with a table and seating, as well as a barbeque and large patio cooler. Atop a steep set of stairs from the living room is an adorable loft space, perfect for hiding out with a great book! brbrWithin a 10-minute drive to world famous Malahat Skywalk, as well as two beautiful BC provincial parks; Spectacle Lake (with great swimming) and Goldstream (with water falls, a salmon run in the fall and incredible hiking all year)brbrWe are located only 15 minutes from the heart of Langford, which boasts natural beauty galore, and many delicious restaurants, great shopping, parks, green spaces, and lakes.brbrOnly 30 minutes from the Victoria Harbour, we are a great escape from the noise of the city, but close enough for easy day trips or a nice dinner out. brbrBeing apart of the Cowichan Valley we are also near many incredible vineyards and breweries. Well worth a tour. Also worth a stop is the Duncan Farmers Market if you're here on a Saturday.brbrGuest accessbrGuests have access to the outdoor space just around the home, including the propane firepit area, carport, and a small yard behind the cabin. Not included is the garage space inside building (separate entrances) or the playground below, due to insurance and liability concerns.brbrOther things to notebrThis home is located off of the Malahat highway and does have some minor noise pollution, which can be heard while you enjoy the outdoor spaces. Since we are surrounded by mountains and nature, with that comes creatures at times. They leave you alone but may build a web or fly through windows if you leave them open during your stay. If you are sensitive to either we recommend finding somewhere a little more boring to stay.

When my husband Bob and I purchased this property 17 years ago, we knew it was just too beautiful not to share. The ocean and mountain vistas are like no other. The most common comment we receive is 'Wow, what a million dollar view'. brbrWe are situated on seven acres set in a private and peaceful setting. Our home is truly a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing views from the hot tub or gazebo on your private patio. Enjoy the spacious bathroom equipped with towels, misc. bath needs and comfortable bath robes. We provide coffee, tea, cream butter and homemade cheese bread. brbrThis is much more than a bed and breakfast. Many of our guest choose to treat it as a destination, taking time to relax and wind down. The gazebo and hot tub are yours to use exclusively during your visit. There is a BBQ provided which has been very popular. Your dishes are whisked away from behind the magic door (you have to check in for the rest of that story) and returned dishwasher clean. brbrIf you choose to venture out, there are several hiking trails, wineries, fabulous restaurants, lakes and ocean beaches close by including the spectacular Malahat Sky Walk just 1.5 kilometers south.
