We are located in the entertainment district so there are acclaimed restaurants and bars all around us and weekends can get noisy from the street and music in the area.brbrOther details to note: brbrDepending on the season, we may not approve booking requests that leave a one night vacancy before or after the request. Please send an inquiry about 2-night bookings. Minimum 4-night bookings are required during the Christmas/New Years holiday, unless approved otherwise. brbrThe unit is located on the second floor - there is no elevator. brThe loft stairs inside the suite are steep and open, and can be slippery. The spot is located in a separate building around the corner from us. I am pleased to be hosting on Airbnb as I travel and am out of town often.brbrNeighbourhood:brMy neighborhood is known as Olympic Village as this is where the athletes were housed during the 2010 Winter Olympics. I believe it really is the best location if you’re a tourist in my city. You will appreciate the close proximity to the waterside that goes on for many km and wraps all the way around downtown Vancouver... great for walking and running. There are so many great restaurants with cuisines from all over the world. This neighborhood is very well-known for the numerous micro-breweries that have become so popular amongst beer drinking enthusiasts. Please note that my home faces a Main Street with traffic, while the other side faces other residential buildings. There will be traffic noise if the windows are open. Once the windows are closed, there’s very little noise.brbrGetting around:brIt is incredibly easy to get around in this neighbourhood and is perfect for walking, running/jogging, and cycling (bike rental shops are not too far to access). The seawall has a designated bike lane, as do most of the streets in this area. It’s only a 15 min walk to downtown Vancouver. The skytrain is a 3 min walk away, which takes you into downtown in 5 min and direct to the airport in 30 minutes. 20-30 min drive to the local mountains. You can also take a short trip by aquabus to various parts of the city (the small colorful aquabuses can be seen in one of my photos). And if you want to venture out to other interesting locales, the skytrain is a great option, and I can tell you more about it and provide some ideas for day or afternoon outings.

Welcome to our downtown Vancouver, gorgeous glass box up in the sky. We have a 2 BD/2BA + Den with floor to ceiling windows so there is plenty of natural light and there is a partially covered private deck with table & chairs if you want to sit outside and breathe in the serenity of the scenery. With panoramic views of the mountains, water, and city from every room you will experience exactly why we love our city so much. A superb location with great amenities, check us out! Our home is a 2 bedroom + den/3rd bedroom, 2 bath condo with just over 950 sq ft of eclectic designer space! As a long-time Superhost on other sites we've received 600+ fabulous reviews of us, our listings (past and present), and the location.brbr**WE TAKE CLEANING SERIOUSLY! Our guest's safety and comfort have always been our top priority.**brbrThe MASTER bedroom is spacious and comfortable with a queen sized bed (Sealy mattress & memory foam topper) and a large closet for all your things. This room has a laptop friendly corner desk overlooking the view. If you have to work while you're in the city, this is definitely where you'll want to be. There is an ensuite bathroom which has a large soaker tub, hand shower, and direct access to the main bathroom's standing shower.brbrThe 2nd bedroom has a comfortable Queen-sized bed for a good night's sleep and a large closet for all of your belongings. The views are incredible, from the mountain views when you're laying in bed over to False Creek and Science World.brbrThe Den makes for an easy reading nook or cozy 3rd bedroom. It is a glass enclosed solarium but we've added privacy drapes to close it off from the main living space. It is it's own room with a sliding door. The sofa bed folds down to a small double bed and can sleep 2 (but they will be close) and we add a proper memory foam top so that every guest is equally comfortable. While there isn't a closet in the room there is dedicated closet space in the main living area. If you are 4 or less people and require the 3rd bed (including memory foam top, bedding & pillows), please let me know in advance as there is an additional $40 set-up fee.brbrWe keep the kitchen stocked with some basics - coffee, tea, olive oil, salt/pepper, condiments - and there is a grocery store just downstairs on the corner. If you're a TV watcher, we have a large SmartTV in the main living space for your viewing pleasure. We do not have cable but you will have full free access to Prime while you're visiting - along with an assortment of other streaming apps.brbrNOTE: The standing shower connects and is shared by the 2 bathrooms. It sounds a little quirky (and it is) but there are 2 full bathrooms - the Master ensuite and the other off the open living space.
