Please note government imposed firebans may be in effect during your stay.brPOOL/SWIM SPAbr● Please NO SOAPS/LOTIONS at all in the pool. br● Deck gets slippery when wet. Use cautiously! br● No Food & No Eating while in the pool. You are welcome to use the table beside the pool instead :) br● Ensure water level in pool is at the same level with the lights at all times. If it dips under, please use hose to refill. Leaving the water below the lights level for an extended period of time could cause the pumps of the swim spa to burn out. br● Pool temperature changes very slowly as it is a fairly sized swim spa pool. We try to keep the temperature at a comfortable heat, depending on the weather. br● Please do not allow kids to play with the swim spa menu buttons. br● Ensure no one in your group uses glass at all while in the pool. Please use plastic cups or aluminum cans instead. br● Let your entire party know there is absolutely no peeing in the pool (or #2 of course). Use the bathrooms provided. br● Small kids need to wear water diapers while in the pool, *at all times.*br● Please make sure guests do not keep running around the grass and jumping in the pool. This brings a lot of grass and dirt particles in the pool, which can severely muddy the water, clog, damage the pool and prevent future use. Safe wrestling/play is encouraged to stay in the pool, and not keep running in and out of the pool. br● Use great care as the deck gets slippery when wet. Use swim spa with great caution, at your own risk. br● Please note, no minors should be left in the pool by themselves at any time. We had a close run-in with our youngest, so please please be very careful. Ensure they use safety vests at all times. br● Pool appropriate attire should be worn at all times - jumping in the pool fully clothed is not permitted. brbrbrIf pool water requires changing after a reservation because it is unusable for the next guests, or if there is other damage, a fee of $350 or more may apply. This is a big swim spa pool and it takes a very long time to change the water and have it professionally treated. It has taken us up to 4 entire days to clean up the water after these rules were not adhered to. So please, use respectfully and be considerate . brbrWe have little locks on the pool for kids' safety. You will find the plastic key on the top white shelf by the back door. If it is currently unlocked, you may just need to unclip the cover. Use the locks as you see fit, for the protection of your guests. brbrTOWELS brFluffy Towels are for *Indoors Only* at all times. Pool/Outside towels (located in master bedroom closet upstairs, next to the door). They are special pool towels - they are on the thinner side and bigger, so they can dry quickly and be reused as needed. brbrMAINTENANCE brPlease note that we will have maintenance services done on the property from time to time. These include: pool cleaning, grass cutting, outside garbage disposal.brbrPELOTON BIKEbrAdults are welcome to use it. Please use great care as pedals can be tricky. Use with great caution, at your own risk. Please use respectfully. brbrYou will need to login with your own Peloton account in order to access classes. brbrSMOKINGbrNo smoking is permitted on the property, at all, at any time. No vaping, e-cigs, cigarettes, etc. brbrCAMERAS brPlease note, we have signs indicating cameras at the entrance door and back door, as well as on the driveway. This is for everyone's protection and safety. Please also note there are signs for dogs - we do not have dogs on the property, but our neighbours do and they are fenced. brbrCOFFEEbrWe have a Nespresso coffee machine for your enjoyment. We are providing some coffee pods - if you need more than what is provided, you can find them at places like Save-On-Foods. (Look for Nespresso Vertuo pods, Lungo = 250ml if you like the bigger pod size we have). brbrFIREPITbrPlease note, there may be a government fireban during your stay. This is completely out of our control. If there is no ban in place, you are free to enjoy the firepit - please do so responsibly, at your own risk. NEVER leave a fire unattended. When finished, make sure to put the fire out with water. brbrWe are providing lighters in the cupboard on top of the fridge and wood in the white box next to the firepit. brbrBBQ brPlease use responsibly, at your own risk. Lighters are in the cupboard on top of the fridge. You will find charcoal at most grocery stores. brbrKIDS WATER TABLEbrPlease note we have a small kids water table. You will find it on the back deck, on its side. This is done on purpose so that no dust/leaves/dirt deposits in it. When done using it, please quickly rinse with the hose and place back on its side. brbr● There may be a government ordered fire-ban during your stay. That is completely out of our control. Thank you for being responsible and *Never* leaving a fire unattended. brbrUse Pool, firepit and BBQ Responsibly and at your own risk. Please Note - deck gets slippery when wet. Site 4 is located behind our old stables, is perfect for two tents and two vehicles. Sites 1 and 4 are next to each other and are good spots to book if you have a larger party. Note that the neighbour's home is within view through the trees, however it is still fairly private and we have had excellent reviews of this site. Site 4 is near the trail head to the lake. Note that there is a fairly steep part of the trail down to the lake, so take care when hiking down. The lake access itself is a forest access. There is no sandy beach area here. If you have young children you can take them across the street to the Stave River where there is more of a gradual water entry.

Site 1 is located at the top of our property, behind the stables. It is fairly private and is next to the trail that leads down to Hayward Lake. Once section of the trail is fairly steep, so be careful. There is no sandy beach; it is a forested access to the lake. Once you are in the water…it’s great! Site 1 is next to Site 4 and is therefore a good spot for multiple families if both spots are available for booking! You can fit 3 smaller tents on this site (if needed) and you can move the picnic table to make the site suit your needs.

It’s only a 6 min drive to the nearest station. brOur suite kitchen offers a well stocked spice cupboard, condiments, and all the utensils you can think of.
