Have fun playing a variety of board games, make memories and soak up the magic of the Alpine Vilage in style this winter at the Birdhouse.brWe are a ski out chalet and at the end of the day you will have to take your skis off to walk up the hill- the magic at the top is worth it! brbrThe Winter Wren is a pet free accommodation; no exceptions.brbrDuring the winter months the village is walk in only. From the parking lot it is about a 7-8 minute walk to the Winter Wren and a 5 minute walk from the unloading area. We provide one complimentary shuttle in to deliver your bags and gear to your holiday home during ski season. The Winter Wren is designated for two parking spots during the winter months in the village parking lots.brbrDuring the summer/fall months you can drive right up to the Wren. Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Courtenay. brA quieter chalet, that is central, in the winter Walk-In, Alpine Village. We are full time residents on the upper floors and you may even get to enjoy a random outdoor apres ski! After a short walk from the Upper Henry parking lot you reach the Mogul Mansion’s Marten Nest it is rustic and tidy with recycled and new finishes, it has high ceilings but is still cozy. brThe bedroom has a queen lower bunk and upper twin.brAs a true ski-in/ski out to Alpine or Nordic areas (minimal skating back from the Alpine runs) you can put all of your energy into adventure! brYou will enjoy the safe and friendly atmosphere of the Alpine Village. We have some snowshoes available for wanders but the groomed routes are easy to walk on as well. Bring your camera for taking photos of the stunning views. brThe Alpine Village boasts safer play areas due to few motorized vehicles as the Alpine Village is a walk-in village. Park in the Upper Henry lot and it’s a short meander to Mogul Mansion. We have a toboggan to help tow in your gear brAmenities:brDouble hot plate, air fryer -toaster oven, toaster, kettle, coffee Bodum, bar fridge, outdoor snow fridge for beverages in the winter. Smart TV and WiFi as well. In the summer we are close to the hiking and access to the MWAR activities of ziplines, biking and hiking! brPlease be aware that fireworks are also banned, and strictly enforced.
