A fantastic stay, Char has thought about absolutely every single detail, and you can truly tell that hosting is a personal passion for her. We've stayed at many different places and have never had a host go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed like she did. Not to mention the incredible view right off your doorstep. A great spot to explore Goldstream to the south or the vineyards to the north, (Cherry Point was our favourite).

The suite had everything we needed, plus lots of little touches we wouldn't have thought of like binoculars, heating floors, heated towel rack and more!The breakfast was a wonderful cheese loaf that lasted us for both days we were there, so not a full bnb experience, but it was wonderful, overall!

This place was absolutely beautiful and the host was fantastic! We would 10/10 recommend for the perfect vacation spot!

Easy to find, beautiful location, great owners; all the necessities for rest and to reconnect. The hottub overlooking the ocean and mountains was a dream and we will be back! Thanks Char :)

All the tens are well deserved! Char and Bob are extremely lovely people and have thought a lot about hospitable touches! In the winter there would be heated floors indoors as well as outdoor fire pit and heating elements. And in summer there’s a heat pump to have AC if needed in the unit. Absolutely spectacular views and comfy interior. Watched Butchart Gardens fireworks from the hot tub. Amazing homemade cheese bread and more.

The location and views were fabulous. Huge comfortable king bed. Tons of outdoor space overlooking Mill Bay. Every convenience and amenity provided from robes and crocs for hot tub to well stocked kitchen and bathroom. It even had a power blind which we opened in morning to watch our fabulous view. We brought 2 doodles which were welcomed and they enjoyed property with us. We hated to leave but on to our next stop. Char reached out to us when we were traveling northward and was very accessible when we had questions.

Char and Bob are amazing hosts! The view is magnificent and the room is cozy and so clean and lovely! We really enjoyed the hot tub and just hanging out at the property! Such a lovely place and I would 10/10 recommend booking this to anyone! P.S. the welcome cheese bread is amazing!

This location was incredibly beautiful, the host was as beautiful to deal with as the view was! I wish I lived in that spot every single day! Just over the top, gorgeous, clean, everything supplied that one would need to enjoy a few relaxing days!!! Char and Bob were marvelous hosts!

The view is stunning. Char is the most kind welcoming host we have ever had. She thought of everything. They have obviously taken so much time thinking of every need that might come up. The suite is gorgeous and quiet. The hosts courteous and welcoming and soooo dog friendly.

Beautiful B&B located in Nalahat. The views are spectacular all day long. Char and her husband Bob were perfect host. Always available when we needed them. I have a daughter that lives on the island so we will be coming back and staying here again. I highly trcommend

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs for the weekend and had the most incredible time. From even before our stay began, Char was so kind and accommodating. The room was the perfect size for all of us, and the magic door was as great as everyone says! Of course the view and property grounds were truly incredible. We loved seeing the gorgeous sunrise and sunset each day, and even got to enjoy some Saturday night fireworks courtesy of Butchart Gardens from the hot tub! We can’t say enough good things about this property or the hosts, just that we hope we can come back again soon!

Char and Bob's property was everything we could have hoped for. The sea view,many birds and all the comfortable places to relax outside were incredible.Char really spoiled us with her homemade cheese bread, fresh fruit, delicious cheese and ham. There was even cream waiting for us. The bed was super comfortable and the private suite was so clean and perfect for our needs. We've stayed at vacation rentals all over the world and this Oasis is one of the best!

This is truly one of the most beautiful places to stay in Victoria. The hosts are so welcoming and generous. The view is breathtaking. Hot tubbing under the stars and hanging out by the propane fire pit we're definitely highlights. The cool reading shelter made of old doors was super cool and relaxing too. I would highly recommend this place!

Amazing hospitality, stunning views. The best place to wake up in the morning. Nothing was to much to ask for, we especially loved the “Magic Door”. It was the most beautiful place to stay for a much needed getaway. Thank so much Char & Bob. We will definitely be back.

The most incredible stay I've ever stayed. Incredible hosts that really put their love and care into their property and their guest's experience. They added so many little classy details for us to enjoy and they made us (and my dogs) feel warm and welcome and cared for the entire time. This was above and beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect cozy place with the sweetest hosts. The view from the hot tub and private heated patio space was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was small and quaint, but it had many extra cozy amenities like the heated floor, towel rack, and toilet seat. The hot tub and patio were beautiful and we spent several hours relaxing there outside. The cheesy bread does indeed live up to the hype and was about half or our food the first two days haha. Only thing to improve upon might be the comfiness of the bed, but in every other aspect the stay was fantastic! We’ll definitely make every effort to come back!

Very thoughtful, touches and detail. Generous breakfast and comfy bed outstanding view. Relaxing outside areas and hot tub.. Even the toilet with heated seat, etc., Char was very helpful explaining how to work everything, and mostly with remote controls! Everything was So easy and accessible to have a comfortable stay. One thing we would’ve liked would be a seating area inside as we went in January and it was a little cool in the mornings. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return to take advantage of all the outdoor seating areas to read and enjoy the view! We did make a little fire in the private reading nook, and it was lovely. The view is breathtaking

My partner and I had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The view from the room and the hot tub are as amazing as described. The property is close to restaurants and stores in Mill Bay and not far from Victoria. The breakfast was delicious and Char made us a wonderful cheese bread. All of the features in the suite were very modern and luxurious. Char was very easy to communicate with and she was very responsive, we felt very welcome but also had a lot of privacy. We would definitely stay again!

This property has become our go-to getaway spot for a couples retreat! Bob and Char are great; they think of everything you could need and are always willing to help if you have a special request. Char makes the BEST homemade bread and all the fixings for a delicious breakfast and the local restaurants are fantastic! But the best part of this property is always- THE VIEW! Stunning in the sunshine and the rain. Even when the weather doesn't agree with you, there's still a cozy, warm spot to relax and enjoy! We just can't say enough great stuff about this place! I've been a guest many, many times as well as traveled the world. Char and Bob's piece of heaven is my favorite getaway. They are two of my most favorite people in world. Dont hesitate. Just book. It's all beyond words!
