Dining area can seat six with additional seating at the bar counter in the kitchen. Guest rooms are located on the lower level, each offer a Queen bed. Guest rooms share a full bath that has a walk-in shower. Master bedroom is studio style with a King bed and open bath that includes a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Interior amenities are foosball table, tons of games for both kids and adults and large smart TV in the game room. Exterior amenities features include a hot tub, firepit hammock, plenty of seating to enjoy the view and propane grill. Tom's Knob is within hiking distance and a perfect spot for wildlife viewing! brbrIMPORTANT NOTES: br- This home is located at over 3600' elevation and does NOT have central air conditioning. Grandfather Mountain is also about ten miles away. The property is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Hawksnest, Linville Falls and Caverns, Valle Crucis, and everything you want to do or see in the NC High Country.brbrThe property surrounding the driveway and parking area is all wooded, private, and available to walk and explore. The driveway leads through a wooded approach to a generous gravel parking area. The lodge has an expansive deck wrapping around the rear and view sides. The front door leads into a generous entry foyer where you can shed wet winter jackets and boots or take off muddy clothes. brbrTo one side of the foyer is a master suite with a king-size bed, an HDTV, a BluRay player, and an ensuite bathroom. A nearby second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full hallway bathroom. The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas and offers granite countertops, stainless appliances, and beautiful hickory hardwood floors. The dining table is impressive and can seat 12 to 14 guests. The living room has a central wood-burning fireplace, a large screen HDTV, and upscale leather furniture. Glass French doors open to the rear deck from the dining and living areas. Enjoy the view in handmade, custom furniture constructed from live-edge wood and wine casks.brbrOn the other side of the foyer is a big family room with a window wall. Large comfy sofas, a round game table for chess, checkers, cards, and an HDTV with a BluRay player furnish the room. A long, impressive L-shaped, English tavern-style bar with granite countertops and wood finishes has a refrigerator, microwave, convection oven, dishwasher, and coffee bar. Off the family room is the hot tub room. The two exterior walls have paneled sliding glass pocket doors that disappear, allowing guests to open the hot tub room to the outdoors. Accessible from the hot tub room and the family room is a unique tiled bathroom with a shower, changing room, 8-person sauna, and steam room. The kitchen is perfect for hosting holidays and gatherings as it includes both Keurig and drip coffee makers, a roasting pan, a 24-quart stock pot, large pots, pans, and serving dishes, and even a cookbook for holiday recipes.brbrThere are a total of six (6) sleeping areas in this house. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom. There is a second king bedroom on the main level and a shared full hallway bathroom. Upstairs are two king bedrooms, a bunk room with a twin-over-double bed, and the Kids Kamp room has two double beds with twin beds above them.
