This beautiful 2 bedroom cabin is perfect for a small family getaway or romantic escape to the High Country!brbrThe main level living area features hardwood floors, a gas-log fireplace, and flat screen TV. Just behind the living room is the fully-equipped kitchen with an island, stainless appliances, Keurig coffee maker, and all of the utensils you need to prepare a delicious meal! There is a dining table that sits 4 people and 3 bar stools at the island. Also on the lower level is a powder bathroom featuring granite counters and a tile shower, and a laundry room across the hall. Just off the side of the kitchen, step outside onto the covered patio and enjoy your meal at the table with enough room for your group! This custom-built cabin is conveniently located in Banner Elk, close to activities and attractions, even though feeling tucked away and secluded in the mountains.brbrA short ten-minute drive will take guests into downtown Banner Elk where you will find shopping, convenience stations, grocery stores, and winery tours. Both Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Beech Mountain Ski Resort are just over twenty minutes away. There is even a private neighborhood back road open to guests, which can get you to Beech Mountain in seven minutes when weather permits. The quaint Village of Valle Crucis, home of the original Mast General Store and beautiful riverside Community Park, is twenty minutes from the cabin. You can be in Boone or Blowing Rock in approximately forty minutes. brbrStep inside and enjoy sweeping panoramic views through the impressive wall of windows. Relax and enjoy the fine leather furniture around the stacked stone wood-burning fireplace and a flat-screen TV. Birds Nest Retreat is a beautiful three bedroom home in the Village of Eagles Nest. Down a private lane, you'll find the perfect retreat. Enjoy the fabulous touches inside, or spend your evening at the outdoor fireplace enjoying the mountain views. From the entryway, you'll be drawn in by the beautiful views of the dining and living area. Table seating for eight at the dining table, or sit at the large, granite island at one of the three barstools. The kitchen has a large gas range, drawers to keep everything organized, and a Keurig. The living room features comfortable seating, a gas log fireplace, 75 TV, and a wine station for entertaining. Wine glasses, high balls, they have it all! brbrThe main level has a laundry center in the hallway, a powder room near the entrance. The king suite is on this level, with a ceiling fan, large walk in closet, and fabulous bath. The private bath has a large tiled shower with a bench and a large soaking tub with a wand. The double granite vanity has beautiful, white raised vessel sinks.brbrUpstairs is a second king bed, also with a ceiling fan. A Jack and Jill bath connects the second bedroom, with a deep tub/shower combo and granite counters. The bunk room has two sets of twin over twin bunks, one on each side. In the center of the room is a 55 TV, a PlayStation4, and a comfortable couch to sit upon. The owner provides a small selection of games, or bring your own favorite with you. In the nook near the staircase is a desk, in case you have to bring a bit of work with you.brbrThe deck has a covered section with wood burning fireplace, sectional seating, hot tub, and a 55 TV. The open half features an outdoor dining area and a new Weber grill.brbrPlease note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Both spacious master bathrooms have walk-in tiled showers with all the extras.
