Livin' Lodge at Eagles Nest - Hot tub, Views, Pool table, Pet Friendly!

Banner Elk, North Carolina, United States

Welcome to Livin' Lodge at Eagles Nest! This luxury five bedroom, five bath home is ideally perched on the front side of the mountain in the exclusive Great Camp Reserve area. With gorgeous views of Grandfather Mountain and walking distance to some of the best amenities in Eagles Nest (Great Camp Amphitheater and field, general store, the soon to be open restaurant, hiking trails, miniature golf and the waterfall area) makes this beautiful, new home a must for your family and/or friends (including the furry ones).br brThis two-story mountain modern home boasts five bedrooms, five baths, a great room, a recreation room, a large kitchen, a dining area and over 1,250' of outdoor deck space. This house was definitely built for entertaining, fun and privacy!br brEntering the home through the beautiful stone front porch into the Great Room provides a breath-taking view of Grandfather Mountain through the wall of windows. The open floor plan has you ready to socialize with your friends and family or cozy up next to the wood burning, stone fireplace. The kitchen was built for entertaining with a large island, stainless steel appliances and a dining room table that can extend to accommodate a large party if needed. On this floor you will find two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One of the two large primary king suites with a heated floor ensuite bathroom, two vanities and a stand-alone tub. Also on the main floor is a queen bedroom ideal for young ones needing to be close to mom and dad or those unable to walk up and down a flight of stairs. From the main level, you can walk through one of the many sliding glass doors and you are met with the tranquil sound of the stream below. The main level deck provides two covered areas – an outdoor living room with a second stone, wood burning fireplace with ample seating for your party and a covered dining porch with a built-in stone grill wall. These porches are separated by an observation deck allowing you to take in the beautiful, surrounding long range views of Grandfather Mountain, the stars at night and the rushing sound of the stream below.br brWalk down the stairs to the lower level and you are met with a place for fun (and sleeping). The Recreation Room offers a pool table, a shuffleboard table, a multi-arcade, a Peloton and yoga mats to enjoy a tranquil session on one of the lower decks. This floor has three bedrooms - the second king primary with a double vanity, heated floor, ensuite bathroom, a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a bunk room with two queen and two twin beds. You will also find an additional full bathroom and laundry room on this floor. Walking out through the sliding glass doors brings more deck space with a large hot tub embedded in the deck and a third level deck for hanging out, washing your furry family and gaining access to the backyard.br brWait – we're not done yet! The grounds are for more enjoyment with a large wood burning fire pit, an area for cornhole and/or horseshoes and a fenced in dog run for your more than welcome furry friends! Interested in taking a hike Meander down to the stream where there is yet another fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a picnic table!br brWhile this house is built for you, your family and/or friends to gather – we would be remiss if we didn't mention the high speed internet, ten TVs inside and outside the house – in each bedroom, the great room, two in the recreation room, one in the outdoor living area and another in the hot tub area. And all new in late 2024, enjoy peace of mind with a whole-house generator in case the power goes out! Everything we've added is there for your pleasure - even if you want to do nothing but watch TV or keep them off and simply enjoy the other amenities Livin' Lodge offers!br brThis beautiful home has ample parking for everyone in your family and a Grizzl-E Classic Level 2 EV charger for those with an electric vehicle!brbrWhile enjoying your stay at this home, you have access to most amenities in the Eagles Nest community. Million Dollar View just 1mile from the Ski Slopes!

Banner Elk, North Carolina, United States

Our home will no doubt delight you in the details. Whether you want to ski your heart out or cuddle up and read your book while gazing at the gorgeous view-- our home will provide the perfect getaway for you and your family. We bought this home in 2010 because we fell in love with what was advertised as a 'Million Dollar View'. Boy, were they right!! The sunset is awe inspiring. We gutted the house, built an addition to double the size of the home-- and now bring our 3 kids to enjoy skiing, sledding, and mountain hiking. Our home is just 1 mile from the entrance to the Beech Mtn ski slopes and 2 miles to the Fred's General Store at the top of the mountain. brbrUse of Beech Mtn Club:brRenters can enjoy using our membership* at the Beech Mtn Club for swimming, golfing, etc. There is a form that you are required to fill out with a list of all of the names and ages of the guests in your party, and you will pay your fees directly to the Club for your daily passes depending on your activities. *Please note that Beech Mtn Club only allows usage for rentals 30 days or more.brbrWhen you make your booking, please request this form if you wish to use the Beech Mountain Club amenities. *It has to be submitted to the club admin at least 3 days prior to your arrival or they will not be able to process your request for passes. Our membership only gets you access to the club-- you will need to pay daily fees for activities that you wish to engage in. Swimming passes are currently $15 per day per person. Please contact the club directly for golf, tennis. etc. fees as they vary depending on your activity: (828) 387-4717brbrNow to the details: brIn 2022 we installed central A/C & heat in our home as the summers are getting a bit warm for a few hours in the middle of the day. We hope our summer guests enjoy this new feature. Our home can accommodate 7 people. The Master bedroom has a super comfortable king size bed-- with his and hers mattresses to promote a peaceful night of sleep. A flatscreen TV and ensuite bathroom provide a chance to sneak away for quiet time and relaxation. The master opens right out to the sunroom where the sunset views are incredible.brbrOne guest bedroom has 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin. One guest bedroom has 1 Queen bed.brbrThe open living plan has a large dining table with 8 chairs, bar with 3 stools, and a dual fireplace viewed from both the eating area and the living room. The living room is very comfortable and steps out onto our enclosed sunroom for wonderful afternoon relaxation. The back deck has comfortable rockers to take in that beautiful view. Drink your coffee or wine on the deck and watch the sun rise or set. AMAZING VIEWS! Please note that we do not have an outdoor grill at our home. brbrOur entire home is on 1-level, which is great for people that find it tough climbing stairs. We have off-street parking for 2 vehicles, and there are about 6 steps down onto the walkway to our front door. For wintertime guests, please know that Beech Mountain requires that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the winter months. They do plow the roads frequently during snowfall, but please do not attempt driving up the mountain during the winter without the appropriate vehicle.brbrPlease understand that you are booking a home in the mountains-- not a 5-Star resort. We make every effort to provide a clean and comfortable stay for our guests, and we try very hard to respond to any issues immediately.
